  • Nepal ride | Where to hire motorbike?

Hello, I'm planning to ride across Nepal this December but due to the number of days available, I need to fly to any of the closest Indian borders and hire a motorbike there. I could see Lucknow and Patna as plausible options than Delhi but finding a rental agent has nearly been impossible online in those regions. So I wanted to check with you guys about your advice/suggestions. I'm open for options with the starting point and it'll be great if you could point me to a similar itinerary.

I've got this lined up at the moment but open for comments. I start riding by 6AM and conclude for the day by 6/7PM.

    December:
16 - Leave Delhi, reach Nepal border [Banbasa - Bhimdatta], call it a night.
17 - Ride through Bardia national park and stay around Tilottama.
18 - Leave towards Pokhara, visit the tallest suspension bridge, stay at Pokhara.
19 - Pokhara to Manang / Muktinath. Yet to decide.
    20 - Return to Pokhara.
21 - Pokhara to Kathmandu. To Phulchowkli hill or Chandragiri view tower.
    22 - Kathmandu to Lucknow.
    23 - Lucknow to Delhi.

    Cheers.

Well nepal though technically a different country but has very good and open relationship with india. You may carry all your docs and that of your vehicle. Pay the tax at border checkpost for your vehicle and done!!.
