On the extended weekend of Gandhi Jayanti, when majority of people staying in Delhi/NCR head towards hill stations, I on the other hand had some other plans up my sleeve.
I planned that I have 3 days with me, 29th Sept-01st Oct, not including 2nd October as it was a buffer day.
So where can I head out to? I have a Duke 390, on which I have travelled max number of times to the Hills of Himachal and Uttarakhand, I wanted to check my own potential to ride as long as possible before hitting the 14hr mark riding time.
So I decided, a solo ride to the Golden city of India, Jaisalmer.
I have been to Jaisalmer on two occasions before but have missed out on Longewala and Tanot on both these times.
So the plan was to leave as early as possible from Gurgaon, reach Jaisalmer the same day, leave for Longewala-Tanot-Jaisalmer Circuit the next day, and then return leg to Gurgaon on 1st Oct.
Since I was riding, didn't stop for photography breaks, but recorded my Journey on the go using my SJCAM action camera.
The trip was amazing but the recording got screwed up after I checked it on returning home, it is like, it plays fine when in fast forward mode, but flickrs when being played at normal speed.
So the videos which I m going to update here of DAY-1 and 2 will be of a hyperlapse kind of Video, in which you will be able to make out what is happening and what kind of amazing roads I rode my Bike on.
Here is the part 1 of the trip.
Next parts will be updated soon.
