After doing some research on Google Maps we finalized on Thimmappa Swamy Betta(search for Thimmappa Swamy Temple on Google Maps for the exact location or simple click here). We checked photos on Google reviews and found the place to be very nice and very less crowded. It is some 70+ KMs from our place.
We planned to start at around 5 AM on Saturday morning on 20th October but ended up starting at 5:45 AM. Google maps showed estimated time to be around 1 Hour 40 Mins and we reached the place within 1 Hour 15 Mins. We maintained a good speed of 60+ as there was very less traffic luckily which is a rare sight on Mysore road especially on Saturdays. The roads are butter smooth right till the destination. When you take a right on Mysore road after Ramnagar, you go through some 1-2 villages where there are some potholes which you can avoid if you're on bike but it is very much manageable. Otherwise the roads are too good. I wonder why does Bangalore interior roads are too bad and these villages have such good roads compared to Bangalore roads

I'll let pictures do the talking about the place now:
Being Himalayan(I named my bike Ashwa
), it was very easy to climb the small hill on my bike except there was one small water pipe they had put which I had to jump and it wasn't a big deal either. You can easily saddle on the bike and climb up/down. The Sleet version is mine and white Himalayan(we call it Snowy
) is my friend's bike. All in all, if you want to go to an offbeat place and want to make your bike climb a tiny little hill then this is the place to go. When we reached around 7:15 AM, we missed the sunrise but I would recommend you reach before sunrise and I am sure that will be the site to behold. I will plan to go little early some time soon to this place with my wife for a nice romantic short ride

Let me know if you've any questions.
