  • Epic milage

Hey everyone, I'm Shuvajit Guha Roy from Asansol, West Bengal. We recently had a ride to Digha, and unexpectedly my Bajaj RS 200 gave me a mileage of 56-57. Well, the time we started my bike's chain was damn loose, but I haven't faced any problem with that. After reaching home I tightened the chain, and as well as a servicing and check-up. After that my mileage stuck to the previous which is 35-36. I don't know what's happening, if anyone can tell me the reason then It would be great.

    Thanking you,
    Regards
    Shuvajit Guha Roy

    Re: Epic milage

    Thread approved.

I am quite sure that the reason for that is a lapse in calculation because 56-57 kmpl is not practically feasible for the RS200.

If that's not it, we have a miracle at hand and we should 'run hence, proclaim the name of the motorcycling gods'.

About the tension in the chain, it is a very small contributing factor when it comes to mileage.
