Just sharing a old experience. Dated July 10, 2016.

I made one friend in leh. Though his name is lambu but he is a short guy his real name is Ankush. He is a mechanic cum owner of the battery shop. My bike was not starting as the climate is cool in Leh, J&K, battery gets discharged faster. Other mechanics were saying we don't do this work. The battery wala guys said remove the battery and bring it to them then only they will check. Finally somebody suggested me to go and meet this lambu but short guy. I told him my frustration. I told him that idhar k log itna attitude kyun dikhate hai jaise ki mai free me kaam karvane wala hoon. He said log bure nahi hai idhar k bas kaam bahut hai unke pass. But he didn't criticize about anybody. He was also having lot of work people were standing in front of him to get their work done. He said first mai mehmano ka kaam karunga fir Ghar walonka. He did his work. Charges my bike ka battery for free of charge but still I paid him 40-50 bucks. And delivered a famous filmy dialogue. Mai koi bhi kaam free ka nahi karwata. He said he to bahut film mome usne suna hai. Then he said now I'm taking this money but agli baar kabhi aapko ya apke kisi dost ko meri jarurat Padi LEH me to bas call kardo he banda aadhi raat ko bhi hajir ho jayega. Seriously yaar. In leh I earned one more friend. Good bless him always. I'm saying ask this things because tomorrow I have to leave for Sarchu and that too, early in the morning. And I don't want any problems on the way.
