        • Past that Local babe incident…..I was riding with less than half a tank of Fuel. Bloody fuel meter on a Zma…I have still no idea approximately how much fuel is in the tank with the corresponding values in the Meter. And because the fuel meter showed just 2 points and I was a bit skeptical…..what if I run out of fuel before the next bunk…. But luckily we came across a lone H.P petrol pump at Powari.
We tanked up and proceeded towards Peo.
Just at the diversion for Peo from the NH, we stopped to drink some water while I pulled out a GF.
While we were enjoying the short butt break, Aryan was buzy clicking pictures of God Knows What!!

Funny things happen almost everywhere!! While Aryan was clicking pictures, I saw a Talli ( not as in Mark Talli!!!). he was sitting on the left side of the rode….I could see from the look on his face that he had more Daru that day than I had water in the last 4 days!! Suddenly he got up….as if he was enlightened by some Heavenly Spirit…walked towards the other side of the road (which was some 50-80 feet above the flowing river)…. And before I could shout out loud….Bhaisaab please yahaan say matt kudo!!!!!
He positioned, angled and started to add some liquor infested water to the Soil. Very Divine , despite having alcohol level 52 times more than permitted, he still was decent enough not to urinate in front of people….. talk about Decency Mates!!! I captured him in the act, apologies for putting up such a pic, I mean a pic which is over exposed….hehehhehehe

While I was clicking him, and he was relaxing himself to his way to Glory…I saw one Dashing local guy on a Bullet approaching us from a distance. Now the best thing about a bullet is that you hear it well before you can see it..(talk about light traveling faster than sound!!!!) Unfortunate as he was as soon as he came close to where our bikes were parked, phuuuuk came a sound and his bullet was charoon khaney chitttt!! I know a lot of my mates on the forum will now plan to get me prosecutes, executed, expelled or even exterminated for talking about a bullet that went Kaput but As if I care!!!

Anyways, while we were clicking some pics and I was about to finish my GF (Gold Flake, please remember!!) that poor mate was kicking his bike, (through a kick starter off course)but unfortunately…the engine would just not fire….
Oops I forget to describe this gentle man…. He was wearing a Navy Blue Double Breast Blazer/Coat along with a basic Blue Denims, Kohlapuri was his footwear and and desi Aalo Helmet with a P

          • @DCS!!!!!!!!!!! What a post! After reading that text, Royal Enfield manufacturers can roll over and die. It has more to do with Bullets than your ride to Spiti. Thankfully there are still people who buy Bullets and thus Royal Enfield has not yet shut shop and gone to Tahiti. But hats, sorry, Stetsons off to your sarcasm.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Dear Ken, I respect every machine, from a CD 100 SS to Intruder..... nothing against Bullets too. They have been an excellent machine with loads of Torque to do Hills, and thankfully, Bullets teach the riders how to operate a machine. My respect to bullet is in my heart....but owing to my thin frame that weight few kilos more to half a quintal, I personally cant think of being spotted dead on a bullet.
and thanks for reminding me that you wish to Gift me a Stetson!! hehehehehe

              • @ DCS / Aryan - great journey man. And thanks for the detailed trip logs.
I too am planning one. Last heard the leh-manali highway is now open. But no news about peo - gramphoo route. Is kunjum pass open? Can anyone throw some light here.

                cheers

                              • Then began searching for some shelter. Finally managed to get wonderfully decent accommodation in Hotel Ashok @ Rs. 275.00 though missed staying at Golden Apple( and will regret it for some times to come)
Unloaded our bikes, pulled out our Cameras, Aryan sat on my bike and we rode for local site(Babes!!) seeing!
We called up Bandhav, desi and Shivanshu to inform them about the day we had and went ahead to the local market. Luckily I came to know that Aryan is a Chuppa Rustam and he being an ardent Photographer has started opening up his chain of Photo Studios. See this.

now thats what we call INVERTED MACROS!
