Wow! That elephant bit was scary. You did not manage to shoot them. That is a pity. But I gather from your reaction in the writing that they scared the living daylights outta you.

@Ken Da - even I was cursing myself for not being able to click elephants. But, trust me being alone had left me with no other option.

That's all from my side. Though I couldn't do Corbett but Lansdowne itself is very b'ful. I intend to go there again in group.... It was a small ride to satiate my heart for some days before embarking on a relatively longer ride.

Buddy, I really enjoyed reading about your trip. Trully I say, Riding alone is an experience of a different taste, we get to know ourself, refresh our mind and soul, away from the madding traffic and busy streets, away from the day to day routine of job into the magical surrounding and serenity within ourself.

I enjoyed your pics as well, beautiful captures of your trip.

As for your elephant encounters.... be careful next time. Heard stories of Wild elephants, especially the one who travels alone. The one you find alone is the one which has been outcast from thier group, this makes the elephant wild, destroying almost everything on sight even the human alongwith the vehicle.. During my last trip, I was instructed that if I should find an elephant alone, run for your life if you can and forget the bike..... and you manage to run, dont come back for the bike because only parts will be left....hehehhehe.....

nice ride and cool pics abhishek... you missed a very good chance to conquer three elephants... you should have invited them for a small feast atleast )

@RX100 - Brother, new beast of upgraded model confirmed but some months later. Till then my P150 is doing gr8 job.

For office, I've resigned & serving notice period. Touring mania begins now.....
