After riding further, saw this on my right. It says reserved area PICNIC Point for spiritual head of Key Monastery!

    View of mountain peaks nearby.

This is the wider view of Spiti River or starting point of Spiti Valley.

Now the views were wider and mountains were differently beautiful.

At 10.55AM, after crossing a dried water stream, I reached here.

        WELCOME TO SPITI VALLEY.

Yet another mission of reaching Spiti Valley was achieved. I was very happy.

After this there was a police check post and my details were registered here.

I was at Losar Village now. I took a small break here and I was again in mobile network area. I called my wife and narrated here about my where about.

At 12pm, I reached the bifurcation point of Kibber and Pangmo & Rangrik.

View towards my right looked like Moon Land area of Lamayuru/Ladakh.

After crossing this bridge over Spiti River you can reach Kaza via Pangmo and Rangrik.

View of Spiti River & wide landscapes around.

Now the view of Spiti River was great with scenic carvings art by God.

This bank of Spiti River had amazing carvings by God. This is caused by river and fast wind.

It looked as if God has kept some Trophies on the rock art carvings.

              Yet another carving.

What a huge carvings and the banks of Spiti River.

                  Thank you.

Himachal is Next Beautiful place for bikes , after Ladakh.

                  Moto has good camera.
Sajal bhaii, I should say Himachal has certainly more colors than Ladakh. HP offers everything, starting from lush green valleys, high elevated mountain peaks, deodar jungle, snow peaks, frozen lakes, river sides, mountain passes, barren lands, famous temples & monastries, cold deserts.

I think what Ladakh offers is a subset of Himachal. That is my observation, may be incomplete. What is your opinion?

Then I reached Triloknath Temple and parked my bike near south entry.
It is regarded as the most sacred site after Kailash and Mansarovar.
The uniqueness of the temple lies in the fact that it is the only temple in the whole world where both Hindus and Buddhists pay homage to the same deity.
Hindus consider Triloknath deity as Lord Shiva, while the Buddhists worship the deity as ‘Avalokiteshvara,’ a form of Buddha.

There are two pillars are inside temple. They are near to wall. If you pass through both, then all your sins will be waved. One is Punya pillar another is paap pillar.

It is sacred to both Tibetan Buddhists and Hindus. Photography is not allowed inside main temple.

This is considered as one of the several abode of lord Shiva. This is revered by Hindu and Buddhist devotees. All devotees visiting the Temple are offered simple, wholesome and tasty Bhandara food.

In the courtyard there is a tiny stone Nandi and a granite lingam, and also Buddhist prayer-wheels constantly being turned by pilgrims, and a six-armed white marble Avalokiteshvara image in the shrine.

                    About this Temple…

                    .....Cont'd..
One more uniqueness that you can see, the structure of garbha graha of the temple same as that of temples of Odisha, eapecially the top section.

There were few people waiting for Pujari to come and open the main door. Soon he came and we offered prayed at this Kali Temple. The idol of Maa Kali is a silver one. This Mrikula Devi Temple is a unique one and is of 12th Century. Inside part of temple has beautiful and intricate deodar wood carvings depicting scenes from Hindu Epics. Pandavas had constructed this temple from a block of wood.
Since photography was not allowed inside, I took pictures from outside only.

                      It is an architectural delight.

It was 1.10PM. My next destination was TrilokNath Temple. I thought that I could reach my next destination and there I can have lunch. There is a road just before Udaipur town, which goes directly to TrilokNath Temple.

There is a bridge over river Chandra Bhaga there.

This road is uphill road and I could get good view of Udaipur town from there.

This stretch of Spiti Valley was most beautiful and enjoyable one.

Today’s ride will be again complete off road from Gramphu onward with lots of water crossings. So I wanted to reach Chandratal before lunch.
I started my ride at 6.15AM and morning view around was scenic. I stopped at one place to capture some morning views. Sunlight falling on mountain top was making it more beautiful.

I crossed Khoksar Bridge at 6.50AM. There was a flock of sheep moving on the mountain nearby.
