Yes, I understand. I think you are in RoadRollers community in orkut. See our schedule for June+July+Aug. We are having tours on every weekend. Hope you have some riding experience in highway riding.

I am very happy to see four of kolkata xBhpian doing a trip or g2g whatever you can say and logging it here. cheers to all four of you.
@JONAK: as I said no need to go for a change now.though you can ask for the price in showroom and its availability.

And one thing I must say VISHAL has a very big heart.

By the way, Vishal deserves a big thanks. He is so down to earth and always smiling. I was leading the whole ride. I fixed some rules like no overtaking among riders, no drag, disciplined riding. Anurag aka Motormania was tailing us in his Aveo. I was keeping a close look at my RVM. Vishal was just behind me in the second position. He never overtook me once in the whole ride. He is so easy to ride with. Thanks Vishal.
gee .. no problemo bro ...

@ All- No worries. I'm fine, the bike is fine too. Just mirror broken and a few small problems. My ankle is a whole lot better now.

And I really wish the pros could have seen Fireblah's riding. I mean the way he handled the SBK throughout, it was almost as if it were a feather light Indian bike.

One more instance, I was riding right behind fireblah, and actually did saw the exhaust valve popping once.... I was like..... [Oh, lord have mercy...]

Since me and Ani were riding in the wake of the CBR, we got to see a lot of open mouthed stares and jaws hanging in disbelief..... Actually a few people asked us if we were shooting for some commercial or movie....

One piece of conversation I have to write:

Uncleji (on his Ambition): Which bike is this...??
Me: (looking sceptically at Ani who's grinning sheepishly) Fireblade.
Uj: This is a foreign bike naa?
                          Me: Yes, its imported.
Uj: How much did it cost?
                          Me: approximately 13 lacs.
Uj: What? You could have bought a Honda City in that!
Me: Umm, its not my bike....
Uj: What speed were you riding at?
                          Me: about 100kmph, average...
Uj: Bah! My ambition does 120kmph! Whats the use of spending 13 lacs and buying this bike?
Me: Yeah, Fireblah missed that point....
Uj: Is this tire original, or have you put it?
Me: No, its a part of the bike. Stock.
Uj: These bikes are of no use. Just for show.... People have spending power, so its like a shauk for them.
                          Me: [ignoring uncleji]

Thats the CBR for you. Plain-jane useless piece of machinery [sorry Fireblah].....
                          You get the point?? :D

^^ Fell off the chair laughing

This is probably the most common reaction to any new bike on the road. Most HH wala uncles think that their bikes can reach all the digits on their speedometer

Must have been difficult to keep your eyes on the road after staying behind one of the most desirable bikes on this planet
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
