For quite some time, every evening I used to get stuck at Bangalore traffic and my bike always tends to tell me one thing
“Run, and hide at a place just to see who is out there searching for you”
That lead me packing the bags and took me to Leh. ‘Leh’, the ultimate destination of bikers. I have started my journey in train to delhi with my bike packed and parcelled in the same train. I started my bike journey from Delhi and finally ended up in the shores of that blue lake. Yeah, you guessed it right..It was Pangong lake..!
I have looked back and forth, no one was there. Perfect place to enjoy the wild solitude. I looked at the lake, it seemed to me like a young girl sleeping in blue sari. It was literally provoking me to dive into the blue water, but I have controlled myself and enjoyed the wild loneliness. I have checked my mobile. No surprises, I have seen some texts which I received last night and that were from expected list of contacts. Life is always like that. Those who promised to be with me is not with me now and those who were scolding me stayed there to scold louder. That was a surprise I could not imagine few years back. I have started my bike after enjoying that serenity and started to Hanle village.
Extreme silence was ruling that valley, except for the sound of my bike . I have enjoyed that like a psycho. There are two kind of experience with solitude, one which comes to us , normally some one gifts us and second is the one we sought after . Both are different just like words and promises.. Yeah, once I have told my friend “when I grow I felt it’s difficult to differentiate between words and promises, because both are the same in appearance”. I have experienced the same over the years, but life just goes on just like this bike ride. There was no one in front of me , no one was following me and no one was with me either. But the ride continues and I enjoy it like being in a fairy tale..!
