    A simple lock down ride, covering some of the best beautiful locations

    Routes: Pune Solapur, Hyderabad, Vijaywada, Vishakapatnam, Berhampur, Bhubaneshwar.

        There was no actual plan to ride, but need to go home, so road was best option for me, was able to get chance to ride after so many months of lock down.
        Started on Saturday morning 7am, and was planning to cover more Vijaywada till evening. but you know its not always possible. I reached till hyderabad till end of day 1.
        The ride was smooth crossed Solapur, Hyderabad. the climate was amazing. Enjoyed a lot the ride.

              Day 2 was long. as I was supposed to reach home anyhow.
              so left from where I slept at 6am.

              the road was nice till Vijaywada cruising easily at 90kmph. Enjoying the beautiful road. Could not took lots of break as distance was more and time was less.

              When I reached near vishakapatnam it started raining, so had to stop for few hrs. causing more delay.
              And when I reached vishakapatnam it was 7pm already.

              had my dinner and left. After than the roads was not good as construction was going on so lots of service road and diversions.

              Took rest for 2hrs around 12am morning slept till 2pm near another temple and started my ride again.

              Listening to music and riding reached Berahmapur at 4am morning. the road was so quite. Cold due to rain. but it was really beautiful.
              and finally at 8am reached my home.

                  Excellent ride brother. It was brave of you to ride through the night in Monsoons. I would have taken a halt at Vizag for the night. But that is me.

                  All is well that ends well. Take a well deserved break. And plan for your return trip.

                  Could you please share a few more details with respect to state of roads between Vizag and Bhubaneswar.

                      Yes had to continue as monday wapas office hehee isliye.

                      Vizag to Bhubaneshwar roads are good. not that bad.

                      after 10km from vishakapatnam to Berahmpur, the constructions were going on so lots of diversion and service road. but they were also in good condition, no unwanted potholes. I could ride easily at 60kmph.

                      After Berahmpur, its highway to Bhubanewar, its nice route. smooth journey.

                        Nice, I suppose you didn't take the Pune-Nagpur-Bhilai-Sambalpur-Bhubaneshwar route because of the bad Sambalpur-Angul stretch, right?

                          this route I had done in the 2015, but that time it was not good. as it was no national highway. Not sure. whats the condition now.
