  • A Short Ride in the Connecticut Countryside

Last month, I went to Connecticut to test ride the Ducati Streetfighter. The test ride route was through the back roads in Litchfield county. It was a beautiful route through the hills with thick lush forests.

Since the Streetfighter was a monoposto (single-seater), my wife could not come along on the test ride.
So we decided to check out the area after we were done at the Ducati Dealership.

We drove around the area for an hour or so and then ended up at lake Lillinonah. There we stopped for lunch and photo-op.

Could not take many pictures of the road as we were running short of time. It was going to start to rain after a while (and it did rain on the way home)

Nothing much to write about.... just wanted to share the pictures with you.

Let the pictures say it all.....

    Topic Approved.

Lovely ride, wonderful machine, beautiful views. I would personally love to know more about the Futura, from you. Something like a first hand ride report would be great.

Nice one there! Pretty pictures. Quite an overcast sky. Beautiful RSV. Was surprised to see two things on the bike though:
              1. Single side swingarm. Did not know they existed on Aprilias! Seen them mostly on Ducs.
              2. Presence of a twin spar instead of the trellis!

I agree on this totally and second it.

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Pardon me, for I couldnt stop drooling over that sight of the Aprilia
The location looks tempting, but nothing remotely as tempting as the RSV!
