First part of the trip was a breeze with smooth but winding and narrow road and a cool breeze with nothing worth mentioning. Then we stopped at Mawkdok, a picturesque viewpoint (Duwan Sing Bridge) and had some tea and snacks.
Then we took off for Cherrapunjee and we had hardly crossed a kilometer or two when 1 of the bikes (Pulsar 220) skidded off the road on a sharp turning and both the riders were injured and one of them had a broken tooth. The bike too was damaged a bit. So, after necessary first-aid both of them had to return back, though after much persuading, cos they still wanted to go ahead with the trip.
Anyway, the rest of the journey went about without any untoward incident and we really enjoyed the ride and also the sight and sound of the abode of clouds.
I am not so sure if this thread qualifies to be here at the Tourer, as I've read in one of the threads that this is not the right place for short trips. But, i just want to share the pics of this trip with you all xBhp Guys and I could not find any other suitable thread to post them. So, here comes the pics! Do enjoy them and a comment or two would be welcome and hugely appreciated.

I have ridden to Mawlong, Cherra and other parts very many times. Almost every Sunday a few of us used to ride to either Cherra, or Mawlong, or Dawki!
