    An Escapade to Bhandardara

    Bhandardara (Bhandardara Tour…)
    This hill station sits quietly by the banks of the Pravara River but loudly boasts its proximity to the highest peak in the Sahyadris, Mt Kalsubai (5,400 ft.)

    Destination: Bhandardara
    Distance: 185+185 kms.(to & fro)
    Meeting Point: Eternity Mall, Thane.
    Date: 20th June, Saturday.
    Time: Sharp 0630 hrs (6:30 AM)
    Route: NH3 - Igatpuri - Ghoti - Turn right - Bhandardara...

    This place looks the most appropriate to visit now, even though DK suggested this for July end, I guess we can ride again that time also. Afterall 185 kms. isnt anything long for us
    + it'll be a one day ride only, n chances are 99% of us getting drenched in the very first of the monsoon showers.
    & the best part Anup will join us, wont you Anup? Kalsubai mountain ranges...

    THE PLAN:
    6 AM: Leave Eternity mall (Thane) for NH3.
    7 AM: Breakfast+chai (after an hour or 100 kms.)
    8:30 AM: Reach Igatpuri (140 kms. approx.). Check bike before riding ahead on rough & maybe even wet terrains.
    9 AM: Start riding, posing & clicking on our way at various locations.
    10:30 AM: Reach Bhandardara. Sight seeing & lunch in the village dhaba & so on...
    3 PM: Leave for Mumbai via Igatpuri.
    6 PM: Reach Mumbai(Thane).
