On June first we started it off from Pune . Two bikes , myself on a hero Honda hunk and a friend of mine from college , on his modded bullet electra.
A brief of the ride :
June 1 : started by around 6 in the evening , rode till kolhapur , haulted for the night
June 2 : The plan to start at 7 in the morning miserably failed due to the breakdown of the bullet ( damaged ignition due to poor wiring)
Started after lunch , from hubbali , turned towards the coast to hault at the Port City of karwar, at 9 , at night.
june 3 : Started at eight in the morning , covered uduppi , mangalore and then entering kerala after lucnh , to reach home , thrissur at night . The longest ride / day.
It was amazing experience, considering it as my first long ride. The agip synthetic oil helped to keep me free from any engine problems. the bike otherwise was in stock condition . It was helpful carrying an extra headlight and a spark plug. HEADLIGHT is very important i`d say.
Riding along the coast made is damp and sweaty the last day, and adding to it the bit of monsoon that we brought along with us .
Not to forget some amazing roads in karnataka
on the nh 4 . But any one entering kerala through konkan road, i warn u of the kerlaa roads
and especially the bus drivers here
