Dats a real hard work as u too know it but I am really glad to find these people who get too far and do those amazing deals of finds and searches. but that GPRS thing in this place works real good.

@lovemax,vivek_sh,nikhil_sc : i have this book "india road atlas" by IMS (india map service). its ISBN is 81-87460-00-8

in the himachal map,dey have shown this road route : gramphoo-tandi-shansha-udaipur-namu-purthi-sachkhas-kilar-alwas-tisa-chamba-dalhousie..

the road basically takes u from rohtang to udaipur to dalhousie!!! gr8.. now the point is,does such a road exist?

Bunny - There is a road only upto purthi(Its actually Purhi). after which its only a trek.
SO I can assure you about this that there are no roads further from Purhi as per my personal knowledge as on Jun'04. If in such a time some change happened then I am not sure but no roads from there on Bunny.

well not really but going by experience this road is not there anymore. It used to be there some time back - but with advent of bad maintainence and cloud burst this road was closed some years back.
