  • [Photo Feature]: In search of the elusive Rose..!

Monday morning and i wake my self to boredom of the monotonous routine of a just graduated B.E student. What do i have to do all day ? well.. start of with a heavy breakfast and then let the movie marathon begin.

    But today was different..

its 10 am and browsing through age old articles at the TOI website i stumble upon a news about ROSE farms outside Bangalore near to Krishnagiri.

    and i went.. "well..hmm... why not ?"..
the bike was due service today and this was to be the last trip before that.

So i drag my lazy ass from the front of the PC and set upon this smallish ride with only two words in mind "krishnagiri" and "rose's".

i pack my cam onto a tank bag and start off. i exit bangalore and am on the way and soon it became a race with the rain. just managing to stay ahead of it.

i reach Krishnagiri in about a hour and half (about 80kms) via Hosur.
I ask around at the local tea shops and to my disappointment the locals said that the season was over and the main farms were not operational now due to lack of rains.

Disapointed . i decide to go off-roading on the inner roads just in case i find any.
half an hour and loads off bad luck and bad roads later. i decide to turn back.

in a desperate effort i thought i'd atleast take a couple of shots of the flowers that adorn the ceter of the road. . but again the wind gave me a lot of trouble with that. FRUSTRATION FRUSTRATION..

i head on back and decide to stop at any picturesque place and take atleast a couple of snaps.

Half an hour into the return journey , cruising at about 80 odd kmph. i see colours at the corner of my eye. BOING !!

    screech..!!

U turn..! ah yes.. there in between the trees beside the main road i see a Rose farm, small ..but who cares. i found it.

here are the snaps .. hope you guys like them.

yeah.. The un-planned ones end up being more fun all the time.

Hehehehe.. No other word but BOING! could've described it better! I'm honestly telling you, Im feeling mighty glad you found what you were looking for!

I've had to turn back being unable to find out what I set out to find, but of course, they're always the simple things like 'good coffee' or proper muttai dosai etc etc

Lovely colour! There's a lil' bit of black in it and that reminds me of the Black Tulip from the Monte Cristo novel

                          Ha ha..

It really was that dramatic after loosing all hope and suddenly BOING.

Road Side dosa and coffee were on the list next but luck said otherwise.

yup this ones my fav too the colour depth of particular rose is amazing.
