    Seeking company to ride to Leh from Bangalore

    Hi All,

    I am a novice in touring on bikes, but I love my bike and I have always enjoyed my short tours on my bike. This year I would be interested to join if any are planning for a ride to Leh from Bangalore.

    Since this is my first long trip, I would not like to do a solo in Leh definitely (may be next time I would)

      I am having such plans in my mind..... its been a dream place in INDIA to visit, after visiting the LEH threads..... let us know the plans.....

            Ragiroti ... I was planning this from last 2 months but plans got Fu*%ed up because of office ...

            I am sure Praful will reply to this thread also .... I remember his comment in one of the other threads showing his desparation for LEH ....

              Few of xbhp oldies tried it. The event was called HX.
              Those folks, transported there bikes from blore to delhi via train / plane (dont remember) and then drove from delhi

              You planning something like that ?

                  Thats Great to know that u r planning this trip Brother...

                  I am doing a Solo ride from Kanyakumari to Kashmir this August and will be leaving from Bangalore on August 21st or 22nd.

                  If i get any riders the planes can be changed and we can do a Bangalore to Leh and can get Leh..ed.... what say....
                  Can PM me if you r intrested....

                        Sorry guys, was very busy in the weekend, well the rough plan i have in mind is pack the bike in a train from bangy to delhi and fly to delhi, from then on it's ride to Leh.

                        I also spoke to Ashwin a senior xbhpian (alias Rocky), 3 of them are leaving to Leh from bangy this week. Well, missed that train

                        Anyways from different xbhp threads i find that the best season to drive to Leh is from june to oct, so we still have time....

                          Solo from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, would be a dream, but I guess I would stick to the plan of riding to Leh for now. If you could team up it would be fantastic

                            As I have stated that Plan can be changed if I get a companion .. even I wanna Ride to Leh but I thought not this Year...
