i was thinking of calling you...but didnt...i was not sure how to catch nh 4 otherwise would have come by that...but enjoyed nh 17 also...took few but long breaks...

when in Amboli u read Panjim 80 kms , who would want to stop in the foggy hills....

Ahem! Ahem! Some of my other friends are planning a trip to Amboli - Tarakali - Goa (for a week) and back.... Starting on 14Aug and back by 22nd....

That Plan took a beating due to a long pending visit to Shirdi-triambakeshwar with family...!

And now as if the confusion was not enough... then this plan! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGG!

FINAL PLAN:
Me & Razor will meet at Powai lake, 3:30 AM. Shiva will join us at Panvel McD, 4:00 AM. By 4:30 AM max we'll take-off to our destination... i.e., still Amboli Ghats only. Will ride from NH-4 & hoping to reach the destination by max 2 PM. Reach there n enjoy the nature. Do a stay-over with Monks & sharing My x-gf stories & legends. Even Shiva & Razor can share their thots this tym about their past n thats an open invitation, lolz JK. Enjoy sunrise the next morning from some view point & Well, GOA is just another 80-90 kms. from there, we can do a short visit there too, but thats just an idea & then start heading back by 2 PM Sunday & reach Mumbai by max early Midnight on 16th.

@Razor, Shiva & old_novice: Buy ur liquid stuff today only. And plz get Bandanas or handerchiefs to cover your face, it is better & more perfect way of avoiding the FLU, way better than surgical masks.

P.S: I wont mind GOA either just 70/80 kms. away from there, seriously... WOT say???

@DK, SB, Ketan, n all: Guys I had a talk with razor n Shiva, both are very excited to go there n dont wana change the plan, even me wana go on a 1000+ kms. ride. Am bored riding to nearby places, I need a 1K+ rides atleast a month n its been like 4/5 months since I hit that long. Plz guyz no hard feelings here, but dont wanna change the plan.

@Anup: I really wished ur presence, but anyways your health is more imp. SSo tc n have rest.

I thought your plans was to come back by Sunday... which is why I didnt tag along!!!!

I was planning to hit Goa on Tuesday, but got a disc break issue, and some real bad worn out pads and tyres... got new ones yesterday and got it fixed as well.... and now have a rear wheel alloy bent, will be fixing it today (where can I get it done @Goregaon?) ::Sigh:: this trip looks all jinxed to me!

If all goes well, I will be leaving tonight with another fellow xBHPian......

The Plan is to take NH17 and comeback via NH4

@satyen-by any chance were you in marol,andheri east yesterday evening as i saw a biker with a multicolour(black and red) r15 with a r15 rear tyre around his neck zooming by.

he he he yeah, that would be me....

You could have waved man! I was with another friend (RXZ-165CC :P) ... tuning my bike....

Oh and chances are I wasnt zooming I had 50PSI on my rear wheels to counter a bend alloy.
