well lovemax when i went there this month the tax was being charged and on almost every road connecting to manali they hav barricades and they check ur slips and if u cant show them the slip u gotta pay the tax

hey tiger dude.. i hv subscribed to tribune paper , chd edition. i get it daily in delhi. i read in it a couple of days back dat rohtang had been officially closed from 31st. officially means d cops/army wont allow ne vehicles towards rohtang now.. still , go till u can/are allowed to go..all da best dude..Comment

Change in plans
Due to office commitments, for both me and Tiger, there have been some change in plans: We'll now be doing 7-9, i.e, Sun-Mon-Tue, instead of the originally planned 5-7 (Fri-Sat-Sun). Apologies to anyone (so far no one has confirmed anyway) who planned to do the 5-7 with us.

thanx for the info bunny guess we can only go till marhi in that case let see if the army guys would let us through or not coz most of the time when they do stop the traffic to rohtang due to weather they do let the bikes thorugh let see if thats the case or notFour wheels move the body. it has been closed due to snow buddy..
for skiing : go to solang nallah , 13 kms from manali. take the manali-rohtang road. at palchan (10kms from manali , tk a left). solang is 3kms from here. solang is 8184 feet high (manali is 6765)
but to confirm if skiing is goin on at solang , contact the followin guys when in manali :
