  • Lads @ LansDown,Aug'09 !!!

Date of Touring - 15th August

Plan- To start riding on early mrng of 15th August abt 4 am in mrng and reach the place i.e Lansdown and enjoy the place to the max for 2 days. Will start back for Delhi on 16th evening or on 17th morning,Monday.

Objective is to refresh from flu-scare, hot, boss, targets, deadliness etc etc

    Why for a trip ??
Reason 1 - Since, I have brought my very own bike Pulsar DTSi 150 in Delhi, I was unable to take time out with like-minded people to ride more than 100kms away from delhi. So, now I m working and living of my own, so want to celebrate with my bike, starting with this ride to Lansdown. There is surely more to come in future .

Reason 2- Ravi Bhaiya has purchased KARIZMA ,yes , the ZMA, comfortable for Touring n all. So for the same purpose as ZMA needs some run-in doing , so this becomes the another reason of going to Lansdown.

Reason 3 - To escape from deadlines, targets, boss, vodafone bill due date etc etc !!! and oh yes rejuvinate the lungs with fresh air in atmosphere of all those fLu's n all !!

    Confirmed Riders:-
    Ravi Dalal55 or Ravi Bhaiya
    rpmboy ,thats me.

    Interested riders
    Anant
    Addy
Aseem(wild card entry) ha ha ha

So, it will be an easy tour and the people who want to join are welcome.

Will update the pics whenever we return, will try to click some natural pics. As camera is another issue. As I hav to ask my frnds to give me an DG cam, but all want to enjoy the weekend on same dates. Or else my 2MP cam of Nokia6233 will come as NSG running after Verrapan !!! ha ha ha

All the best. One question: What do you mean the "latest" Karizma? FI?
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

I would have loved to ride but Lansdowne is kind of a NO-NO for the time being. I was in Lansdowne just a couple of weeks back for 2 odd days!
                  :)

would've liked to join, but am yet to get my hands on my wheels... and then this weekend being the first after I got back from Japan, have to take care of way too many things...
New computer tower, unpacking properly, test rides for new bike, and the lot.....

It'll be next time I guess, or maybe even later as the office dictates....

@rpmboy: The expenditure differs from person to person. I ride with really tight budgets, but then that's just me, I guess. I completed the whole 6 day Spiti ride on a budget of about Rs.2500/- or thereabouts (ofcourse excluding the fuel expenses). So, you can very well guess how much I might have spent on the 13 times I have been to Lansdowne!

As for hotels, there are a couple of guest-houses and forest rest-house, but those are way too expensive, as far as my view goes. There is ONE hotel in the main market (Mayur Hotel) which has GREAT food and some decently good accommodation. Take that, if budget is a real BIG concern!
                              :)
