@Akhil/Prabhu: How on earth did (Prabhu and co)/(You guys ) manage to save the electricals?
The airbox and the exhaust pipe can be sealed to some extent hence preventing the engine from drawing in water. But the fuse/Battery/CDI etc AFAIK would be drenched and hence fry when the vehicle is started

How is that possible??? How did the engine start again once the whole damn thing was submerged! Was there any kind of sealing prevention done before entering? I dont understand

WTH!!! All that surprises me is that, if the bike had been switched off and pushed I would not mind!!. But I see that the H/L is on which means that the engine was running.... More than the electricals, CDI etc am doubtful of the carb, plug and the silencer!

            Thanks for the responses guys!

ya all the bikes did cross the over flowing river! we sealed the silencer with cloth and polythene cover and tapped it. The engines were off! The bikes were pushed across the water crossing. After that lifted the bike (like a wheelie) to bring out the water from the silencer.

Comet(thanks to the rear cyclinder) and thunderbird(thanks to the twin spark) sprang up easily. RTR started quick but was not revving. The airfilter had some water. Starting the Unicorn was a bit tough. had to dry the Airfilter, clean the plugs and some 20 plain kicks and then some 20 kicks with Ignition on. And Bikes were roaring within 20 mins

What The....?????? good the bikes started lately after crossing the river..! but couldnt understand the reason to do that.. even for a person to cross it is quiet dangerous looking at the current in next pix of river-rafting..!! dont know but I felt pity on the bikes.. its like the head of man floating its head up on the river...

                  Poor Bike..!!

@Prabhu: Major kirik to get the bikes across that lake
And we kinda figured out sealing the exhaust end etc. But the CDI and the electricals not shorting out when the bikes were started, is a real shocker. Lucky for you guys that physics had taken a day off that day

well more U think and more U solve a issue the More we blow it up. If we just take it cool and do wat we know, It yields much better results. This has always worked with me.
