Finished reading; good stuff. How are your back and wrists doing now? 39 hairpin bends in 10 odd kilometres would knock the wind out of most Sbk riders. I also noticed that you rode quite a bit in the night. I try to avoid that as much as possible. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed it quite a bit.

Thanks Ken well the back and wrists sure hurts a lot on SBKs but i guess the thrill and the pride of riding a SbK makes us forget the pains. it Was very tough on the 36 bend climb, almost lost my head and wanted to quit, but finally made it. My back is perfect now but the wrists still pain a bit. Night riding was unavoidable this time cos the plan was so sudden but will be more careful to avoid night riding next time.

The elephants were grazing in the near by grass land.. i got down from my bike and went near to get a few pics... there was a forest guard who said it was safe to go a bit near as they were in herd and there would be no problem... hence you see them in the background so close... hey btw can u suggest some good lube for the chain... it seems to be making some noise after the long and wet ride.

Get a can of chain lube in a spray for O-ring type chains. There are a few available in the market. I get mine from abroad.

hummm... but can u suggest some brand or company.. i live in Tiruppur .. its a small town and there are no good shops here. So if i have the name of the lube i can ask sum1 in bangalore to get me one.
