We have so many options around here...

Lavasa, Amby & the whole Sahayadri ranges with awesome twists n turns

Malshej in rains turns a lil risky with heavy traffic flow n lots of vehicles park aside the road, which are hard to spot in dense fog n 10 mt. wide road

      But the beauty is unmatched...

I dont feel that there are some good corners there where in you can practice cornering as such..they are just normal..for that we have a public usable track(mind you public means everything that moves )...

Malshej is just for enjoying the nature and its beauty..

Actually the road leading to Malsej Ghats has more twisties than there @ the ghat itself.

Anyways, I might head to Malsej this sunday.. any1??

Lavasa, Amby, Mutha.... by far the best places to practise cornering!

Malshej has twisties but has low road visibility, and some challenging corners....

Somehow I am slowly begining to hate/not like this place as much, thanks to the zillions of pot bellied uncles running semi\full naked all around high on alcohol in such a beautifull place!

Thanks for the views and comments guyz,....
Malshej Ghat is around 130km away from Mumbai...
The route which I normally take while going to Malshej Ghat is thru
Sion -> Mulund -> Thane -> Proceed on the Same eastern expressway after Thane till you Reach the Bhiwandi - Kalyan signal... Take a right there and then go Straight on The SH-222.. till you reach the Titwala exit...
Take left and follow signboard directing towards Murbad,
After you reach Murbad (First of all check if U have enough fuel to cover 50kms to and 50 kms fro As there is no petrol pump ahead for next 65 kms ) Then going ahead thru Saralgaon you will see the mountains ahead... foloowing the straight road will land Up in the Ghat...
While moving thru the Ghat check out for amazing waterfalls on both sides of the road during Rains
