        @hi-octain- Dude i told u. Keep a watch on first page Mumbai-pune g2g. Details will be posted there. and all the riders from mumbai will be riding together from mumbai itself. dont worry it wont be a problem. incase u still not convinced, PM someone i am sure everyone will help you.

              pune guys..the total distance will be max 1000km..
              @bhatiaj::2000 km is just 2 much dude..max will be 1200
              anyways..u dint have 2 reveal the secret behind the trip..well there is one more reason..i need to meey my cousin..so will have 2 leave ull 4 like 2 hours in daman..is that fine???
              n my odo reading is 810km today..ie 19th nov at 10 am
              so till the 26th im gonna try n control.. keep it below 1000 km..
              but at a rate of 100km/day(currently)its gonna be very hard..
              n wotever it is..im gonna disconnect the speedo cable at 2400 kms so that i can get the free service..
              @ace:come pillion if u want..well need a spare rider anyways..i think even ill get a pillion wid me coz i have NO licence..

                  ok..here is the tentative plan for the pune guys..
                  26-11-2004
                  0530 .. meet opposite e square..discuss route,where to stop etc etc..
                  0600 ..leave for mumbai..ride at a comfortable pace..no hurry coz reachin mumbai early wont help
                  0900.. reach mumbai n meet the mumbai guys at some place(mumbai guys please decide..exact location)
                  have breakfast in mumbai and go to bachoo motors to buy gloves..anybody who wants to buy anything else also has time
                  1030..leave for daman..ride at a comfortable pace again..
                  ~1400 .. with lots of stops reach daman..take rest till 5..in this time ill meet my cousin n come

                  once we reach daman we decide wot 2 do..so no use postin up the 'in daman' plan here..
                  so mumbai guys..pl post up ur time table..

                      well its will be about 4k(at higher end) for me for the entire ride...lets see am not confirm anything now....but i am in for the neelshi thing for sure...
                      here is my calculation(based on ur figures):
                      These figures are calulated for a p150dtsi and on higher end
                      1.Total distance shoud be :1500km
                      And sine i get about 50kmpl in normal riding,have taken 40kmpl since we will be hitthing triple digits on regularly it would be about 40ltrs(37.2 actually)so that wil, cost about 18802
                      2.Accomodation:1200(per day per head as per jayesh's calculation)
                      3.Extra:500 for "stuff"
                      Pt1+Pt2+Pt3=3580

                      So on higher end i carry about 4k along..
                      lets see if i can roll that much money
                      If Speed Is A Sin Then Am Guilty Of It!!

                          these are my calculations..
                          4 d mumbai guys::
                          mumbai daman::200km(max rs300/-)
                          stayin in daman:max rs.300/-
                          eating n drinking in daman:max rs.300/-
                          daman mumbai:200km(max rs 300/-)
                          mumbai neelshi:150km(rs200 max)
                          tp in neelshi:50km(rs 70 max)
                          eating and staying in neelshirs400/- max)
                          neelshi mumbai:150km(rs 200 max)
                          total including daman::rs 2070/-..get arnd 2500/-max
                          4 d pune guys:
                          only thing extra will be mumbai to pune..
                          200 kms:rs 300 max..
                          dist of pune from neelshi is 70 km max..so we save up another 80 km(rs 100 ) over the mumbai guys..
                          so pune guys...rs 2500 is more than enuff...including everything..
                          max get arnd 3k...max..
                          these r my calculations..

                            Guys an important tip remember to tank up whilst reaching and leaving daman coz petrol is cheaper by about 2 RS in gujarat hope it helps you guys to lower your expenditure specially you ace coz 4k seems to be a lot.

                                @technocrat you guys just be careful a little about the quality of petrol as soon as you cross the gujarat border after a few kms ther are petrol pumps, coz i do this with my car when i'm going to gujarat fill sufficient amount till the border and then tank up there.
