    [Photo Feature]: Mahabaleshwar Trip on 26to28 Sep 2009

    Finally, We (Myself and my wife) have made short but memorable trip at Mahabaleshwar Trip on 26to28 Sep 2009.

    In start of September ;I checked with calendar, 28th Sep 09 was a holiday , I made a plan in mind to take this opportunity to small trip on my newly R15(As I purchased it recently and quiet excited to ride it) .Then asked to my wife (whether she had also holiday or not on that day otherwise plan will flop..) and decided to go Mahabaleshwar.

    As We have plenty of days to make successfully trip; gathered information from colleagues about Mahabaleshwer. Google it and find very decent farm house (Pooja farm house) in near Mahabaleshwar.

    The day has came, finish Friday work ASAP and reach home, done packing and decided to leave Pune before 6:00 am.







    Total KM covered: 400 (Including various view point riding)

    These are a wonderful treasure for us.

                  How much time does it take to reach there on a bike
                  what were ur avg speeds ....

                  I just simply love mahabaleshwar ... the climate there just in itself makes me really happy ...

                    Beautiful pics @jiten i really liked the pictures of the sun rays comming thru the coluds looks heavenly. And on the biking front I had a couple of questions
                    • How did your wife feel about riding pillion on the R15? I only ask cos the R15 gets a lot of flak for being uncomfortable for the pillion. And I wanna get an R15 and my excuse for it would be that I would use it as a Tourer and I have this inseparable friend who 'd be touring with me and in fact she has offred to finance the R15 and I wanna ensure she'll be ok on the back of an R15. And wanted to get a women's perspective of riding on the back of an R15?
                    • Did you feel any loss of power with a pillion? Was it difficult to overtake? I again ask cos my friend and your wife seem to be of similar build.

                    Looking forward to your replies, cos based on it I will open my mind to considering the ZMR
