  • [Photo Feature]: A 62 year old man dares khardungla and changla , that too, alone on his bike, read on

There is something in the land of lama, which attracts people of every age group, be it the challenge built in the environment ( height, rarefied atmosphere, difficult terrain) or the strange terrain of the land such as magnetic hill phenomenon, moon land zone and also the hungroo loops(jalebi modh) etc.

Whatever may be the reason one thing I knew for sure that I always wanted to visit this place called Leh, but always had better reasons to deny myself from that opportunity. The reasons such as: unaffordable long absence from job, inadequate ready finance, and a bike with capacity to take head on the harshness of the terrain.

So I felt, either it is to happen now or it will never in my life. In the subconscious, it was deeply embedded, due to various inputs received over a long period that such a trip was most difficult and needed matching preparations.

    Tour Approved

Congratulations to the man who did this! I sure wish I have such energy left in me at such a ripe mature age to keep biking thus!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
