Next day at about 5.30 a.m my cell phone alarm helped me to wake up and I immediately called Ranjan and we both ware in hurry to fulfill our dream. At about 7.00 A.M Ranjan came to my home and soon we were on the way to hit the road.
Our destination was DIGHA , the famous tourist spot of West Bengal , which is mostly known for the rock solid Sea beach . I think Digha is one of the most nostalgic place for more than 80% Bengalis because most of the young people remember this as their first tour with out parents , with friends only. Me and my friend Ranjan is also in this category. At about 7.30 we fueling our machine and decided to reach Kolaghat as early as possible.
At Fueling pump…….

Approaching NH6.......

Our First pit Stop………. 10 km away from Kolaghat

After reaching Kollaghat we stopped for a while in a dhaba to take some breakfast .

After taking some coffee and snacks we again started for kolaghat. We reached Kolaghat at about 9.30.

Nice....
I went there (almost) with a couple of friends on 26th october. The road after Nh6 was horrible. Was fine for some time, but after that there is a back breaking road. Hope you guys had nice time.
Its a nice route though. Hope they fix the roads soon... will love to go again, only if the roads are good.May the torque be with you..

U r right bro. The road condition after NH6 was so bad so we took too time to pass the road. after Nandakumar the road was so narrow to drive and the incoming vehicles were too rude with our two wheelers . Anyway the tour was full of fun because it was our first long trip. Thanks for ur comment. Hoping some valuable advice from u again.Originally posted by fireblah View PostNice....

After Reaching Nandakumar one of our common friend called me and after knowing about our trip he requests us at least visit his place that was about 35 km from Nandakumar crossing . he was then in Haldia. But we had no enough time to spend because we have to come back Kolkata on the same day. So we were not agreed to consider his request. but after again and again request from him we had decided to visit his place. So we took the NH41 again and rip hard . But the road was so dusty so we were unable to maintain our constant seed. But near about 10.10 we met him and having small discussion with him.At about 10.30 we left his place and came back to Nandakumar. We reached Nandakumar again at 11.30. Without wasting time we followed the Nandakumar Digha Road. The Road was so narrow but the beauty besides the road and the eucalyptus trees were amazing.
Some pictures Tahken on Nandakumar Road. Here are some few....

At the time of returning we had to cover near about 90 km in dark on NH6 from Kolaghat to Kolkata. that was the most toughest part of our biking. The light of in coming traffics made us completly blind. I thing it is a serious problem to all the bikers. I think no Indian 2 wheelers have sufficient headlight beam to travel on highway at night. but at last we returned back to home at about 7 p.m safely. We both enjoyed very much the every moment of our first long trip. we will preserve the sweet memory of the tour in a spacial corner of our heart.
Some picture are here from Nandakumar to Kolkata......
