  • Across the Border on two wheels

    1. Deepak (Me on my Yamaha R15)
    2. Arnab (Avenger 200)
    3. Soumya (Pulsar 200)
    4. Pinak (Pulsar 150)

Before I go into the thick and thin of the travelogue, I would like to thank Old Fox whom I had met during the latter's visit to Bhubaneswar during the Castrol Power1 Hunt Road Trip for the following valuable suggestions regarding night driving :-

    1. Always believe in your eyes and when you don't see anything just believe that there is nothing to see. This commandment came handy when I defeated my worst fear, riding in the dark and that too in the mountains in pitch dark with the roads flanked by a valley on one side.

    2. When you come across an incoming vehicle driving with the lights at high beam , rather than dazzling your eyes, look at the areas that are illuminated by that light.

Anyone who wants a little more detail about the trip and prefers a descriptive travelogue with the off beat photos check the following link:

We decided to store the detailed logs in a separate location to avoid creating new threads and flooding this space.

Across the Border on two wheels

Thanks a ton Aryan for the quick approval. I shall give a blow by blow account of each day shortly. To start with, I am attaching some pics. The pics were taken by my companions, Soumya and Arnab, as I was too engrossed in enjoying my R15 ride and was riding in "Driver's mode" as coined by Arnab.
