Ye Ken Da, the time span was quite less. You know there was nothing much on 1st of November. The main attraction 'camels' were missing and the Lake was also dry and there were also not much cultural activity left except 'the best of Rajasthan' on 2nd Nov eve.
And now 'm waiting for your thraed there in thephotographer.in

I was there in the fair for the entire day and free mingling with the crowds trying to take some pictures in the hustle and bustle of the visiting pilgrims. During the Pushkar fair, the majority of the camel fair happens about 5 days before the full moon night which this year was on the 2nd of November. We normally do not visit for the animal fair but mostly for the people and the colours which I just LOVE in Rajasthan and Pushkar provides ample opportunity for that. Talking of animals however I was quite happy at the number of excellent Marwari horses that were to be found there... a good 500-600 of them.

The camel races took place on the 1st Nov morning at 0830 hours. In the programme they had printed 1000 hours and when we reached the race grounds, they were already over! Good to see your photographs. Mine are somewhat similar. Thanks for your log and sharing your pictures.

I just wish to spend some good time there next year. 5 day before thing is noted and 'm going to buzz you next time for sure.

I found the same(wrong info in the leaflet), and it was quite disappointing. at first i was happy that 'm not going to miss the camel race... and ye, after seeing your captures there in thephotographer.in 'm speachless. i can say you are the best and i love the originality of your captures

So you visited my city? Great! and good pics there archistar bro ...

You took me on a tour of my own city. The same familiar hills, narrow empty roads, the view of the city from pushkar hills, etc.

Good effort. By the way, when you entered Ajmer city boundary through Jaipur Road, that was where my house was...

Ok archistar bro, anytime you're welcome...
It's just that I hardly see true bikers around my city. I only see helmet-less riders doing wheelies on RX100's on backroads... So, meeting you guys would be great!

Let me know when you visit, and I'll send my number...
