Hi xbhpian's...apologies for not putting this in earlier...!!! Blame my stupid laptop and stupid job timings for this...!!!!!
I know long travelogues are as boring as mails from your manager. So I intended to keep mine short with some pics to keep u interested.

The route Mysore-Bangalore-Krishnagiri-Thiruvannamalia-Pondicherry.
2 bored individuals and a little money in the pocket plan on a decently long road trip. They ask their friends to join in but as usual are back stabbed at the last moment. So N starts of from mysore and asks N to join from bangalore. Not too inclined to be tormented by the bengalooru traffic on a good sunday morning, these fools take the nice road, reach electronic city, reach hosur and have good idly vade sambar and filter coffe and go on.
Reach krishnagiri and stop for the customory pee. The roads are as silky as mallika's legs and these two ppl do good time. Its then the adventure starts. Between krishnagiri and thiruvannamali it starts to rain. Intially its romantic the rain, the bikes, the road eta all. The second time it rains its adventerous, the third time its ok, the 4th the 5th the 6th and the 7th time its bloddy ***** This is a one off pic of a mushroom growing on a tree these ppl took while stuck in the rain.
After 7 hours (2hrs stuck in the rain) we finally reach pondicherry and check into a hotel near the beach. This is the entrance to pondicherry.
The 2 idiots check in have a good hot bath and think of walking around the wonderful french quarters of the city. Little did they know that biking and walking for 7 hours is not a good thing to do..!! Here are some wonderful french houses they could see.

After the walk thorough the lanes the 2 idiots felt so tired that they had to hire a rickshaw to get them back to the Hotel. What they ate and drank in the hotel is unnecessary as this a family forum..!!
Day2.
After a very very very bad hangover, the 2 idiots try to get sober, get up at 8 and start off to picchavaram, the second largest backwaters in Asia after the sunderbans. Contrary to popular belief that auruville is the only thing in and around pondi, the 2 idiots skip it and head off to picchavaram, a 2.5hrs drive from pondi on some extremely bad roads and some extremely good roads. For people who do not know what mangroves are please use google...!!
The 2 idiots hired a boat for 4hrs which cost them 600rs. They being old fashioned preferred the row boat to the motor boat.
This is enroute, in the canals formed by the overhanging mangrove branches.
After around an hour and a half of ride, you reach the end of the backwaters and the reach the sea shore.
And finally reach a beach which is straight out of national geographic.
There was not a single person. Only crabs and crabs and crabs and sea gulls to keep you company.

All we missed were 2 things...i suppose you can guess what they were..!!

After picchavaram the 2 idiots think of going on the much hyped ECR. They do around 15kms towards chennai, are not so excited, so they head back to their hotel, clean up and try some shopping in Pondi.
Day3
Nothing exciting on the 3rd day. The 2 idiots have breakfast in Le cafe, a wonderful little but expensive cafe by the beach in pondi.
And head back home. The only glitch though, the RX gets punctured right in front of the puncture shop. After 30mins and 35rs theya re back on the road again...!
Thankfully there is no rain this time.!
