The road from Poladpur to Mahab was never actually in good condition. I used it around 2 years back by car and it was in pathetic condition.. The other side of the ghat is in wonderful condition though.. BTW, was is worst than the road which DK made us to ride on during the Roha ride?

JUST A NOTE: If am not wrong, you are talking bout Umesh - the one who comes with me, right? Well he's not an xBhpian technically. Be careful while addressing anybody as xBhpian as already one case is up where people pretended to be xBhpians while they were cought by cops Besides he's an outrageously risky rider. Ask lonelyrider It's just he accompanied me for a few rides and flicked a sticker from MG during Mega g2g.. That's it.

The road from Poladpur to M'war aint that bad .The first 10 -12 kms , 50-60kmph.
after that I was doing 60-90z in some places , You have some odd potholes , thats all .I was riding during twilight and dark.

1 thing i needed to tell From my experience with interaction with frenz from MH.. WHenever a Guy from MH says the road is V V V Bad , that means you can do 80's without trouble.

The roads in Karnataka is so damn pathetic that , riding in MH was a bliss for me .
The worst road in MH is way better than roads in Bangalore city man , dont crib :-) U guys are really lucky used to butter smooth roads , Dont crib ...:-D

Bewde.. congrats for your first solo ride, it was your dream too. I am surprised how did you managed to start so early after that friday night and moreover this time there was no wake up call for you. Even you invited me to join but I couldn't due to some office work thingy at saturday.
Looking at the snaps it looks like "mere sangat ka asar hai" nice clicks BASANTI, I taught you well
This time I was expecting a torture log as well and I was ready for it.
BTW where are the photos of Kass lake, I can remember you were planning to visit that place too.

Thanks Buddy..yes it was worst than the ROHA one...as some of the strech of that Rohan ride was pretty good and some was bad,but here complete road from poladpur to Mahabaleshwar was MESS

Finally reached Mahabaleshwar,Did lunch and started rest of the journey.While i was in the way to Satara i spotted WILSON POINT board..So i took the turn and visited the point.Nothing much to see.Hills again

The Mahabaleshwar to Satara road was pretty good..It did not took much time to reach Kanher Dam..Actually i had planned to visit kass as well,but i was running out of Petrol.And it was bit inside from the state highway.
Reached Kanher dam,Entry to the Dam was restricted so took the offroad way.

After leaving Kanher,i stopped in satara for refuelling.Satara is hardly 5-6 Km from Kanher dam.After doing full tank rode 60-70 Km non-stop until i reached Sangli.After reaching checked-in in a hotel.I was dead tired,so some booze was required to sleep in peace.But to my surprise it was dry day there..beacuse of bakreed.But someone said "Determined peoples always find thier way"...and so did I..after 30 mins of roaming i finally got 2 bottles of KF strong for 220 rs only.Took it to the hotel..enjoyed and finally slept.

The Next day attended my friends wedding..which started from 11 am and ended at 3:30 pm (for me)..After see off i went to hotel and quickly packed up my stuff and started rolling back.

Sangli to NH4 strech was pretty good.Fields adjacent to the road were covered by Sugarcane.Stopped in between and checked out..the soil was black one.The most productive type of soil

That's all

Took 2 break's between Sangli and Pune.Reached Pune at 8:00 Pm

Rested for 1 hour at friend's place,then started for Mumbai at 9:30..Reached Home at 12:30

After having Dinner immediately went to sleep.
