  • Xmas Ride !! (A Small Writeup)

Frustration was creeping in me.. for a long time.. and I guess it was at its spiking best on the night of Xmas Day !!
I planned to go to Skandagiri (the cloud place) but no one was willing to accompany me ....!!

I decided to head alone....the only problem (and the funny part)....was I could not find the town.. where the hill was...!!
(Ok, you will say I would have lost my way... even I thought so too.. but... I have been there 4 times before...!!)

In the quest.. I rode 150KMs one way....(I entered AP for that matter) ....in pitch darkness...with me and only my Bike on the tarred road of NH-7.

Darkness.....me ....the chill....!!! It was an amazing ride....and I was grinning ... I think ... in the first leg itself !!

And you know what makes your heart skip the beat ?? When you are all alone riding the bike on the Highway....not a single vehicle around....
...and you too switch off your lights (for a split second) to feel the darkness and the stillness...Nothing beats that !!! Trust me ...!!

I know it is dangerous....I know it was not sane....!! But the ride I took, in itself was to shrug off insanity

    Total Ride.. : 280 KMs from 0030Hrs to 0600Hrs !!
    It was fun !!

PS: The '3 dots' are there because I could not find adequate words to describe the emotions.

I have expirienced it once at midnight in the hills of shayadris.
      Nothing beats that moment.
