Hey Shelton... Thanx for appreciating the ride....

as far as P220 is concerned, she did just fine.... she has been up the hills before , and was smooth as always... be it off roading or curves or black ice... she handeled everything with grace....

You are an incurable addict Vaibhav...absolutely beyond redemption .

Words like these below can only come thus...

'had a puncture and found a puncture-waala a few kms ahead'.
'Well the gods did not let me down. As soon as we reached Theog, It started snowing.'
            '
So there we were swaying to from one bank of the road to the other, saving ourselves from falling, the rear tyre having a gala time, and our boots covered in snow, kilometer after kilometer. Just heavenly!'

Black ice or pack ice..it is the same. Even engine braking deserts you. And those legs stuck out like out-riggers are more of a psychological help that anything real. Dig those heels into a little soft snow and you'd get some grip...but on hard frozen ice...you'd get split in two before the body rests . Ever tried picking up a fully-laden and fallen bike on hard ice? But I guess you're crazy enough to find that 'fun'. I have suffered from such lunacy too.

Great log, beautiful pictures and a memorable experience. Just go on...

A beautiful V-day ride! And brilliantly penned down! I very well enjoyed reading your log just you enjoyed writing it.

Thanks for everything - the words and the pictures that were more than thousands of words.

Thank you sir. I am glad that you liked it. And you are correct about me being an addict! I too, got that realization, though a bit late. Because earlier I was confused between addiction and affection

In the past, not only have I tried (but in vain) to get the vehicle up, but have also lost traction and fallen in that attempt many a times, along with the bike . It is another kind of fun, a different kind! But that's another story, and someday we'll sit and talk about it
