Am shocked to know about what all happened, shocked because I had no idea something like this was going down. I feel bad about it, partly because I was pissed at Sunny and partly because I am a really bad person. Read on to find out. Ill post the whole trip from my viewpoint!

I actually was looking forward to a ride with Sunny and the Delhi gang partly because I was tired of the sights around Pune and partly because I've heard a lot about it. I was in Nainital for a month working there for my Dad. I was really happy when I heard about the ride, I initially thought of getting something bigger for the ride but scrapped my plans as it was raining and these were unfamiliar roads. I was also thinking about getting into HX5 but circumstances prevented that as well. So I left from Nainital to stay at a relatives place in Delhi couple of days before the ride.

As I was testing out my new Flickr App on the Blackberry you can see the photos are GeoTagged and you can see the exact location on the Map. Click on the link(s) above the photo(s)

                                First stop after nainital

I encountered really bad roads on the way, and was really tired and fatigued keeping good average speeds was a real task. But thanks to the 220's grunt and control I kept good pace.

Just before Hapur I hit good roads and made it to Gaziabad in time.

Beautiful on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

When I was in Gaziabad, as I did not know anyone else who was coming on the Trip and XBHP was down. I called up sunny to ask about the details. He told me that the trip was getting canceled because of the some problems with the site he could not come along and he was scared about the rains. At this point I was really angry at him because he knew that I had come all the way and gotten the bike transported as well. I somehow got in touch with Manan and we all decided that we would carry on anyway. None of us had any idea about what had happened was so serious. In fact I though its just a simple server shift and because of that was not happy with sunny. But when he called me and told me he would be coming along as well I was happy because I didn't know anyone else and I would get a chance to pull his leg. I am really sorry for my behavior and attitude sunny. I had no idea what you were going through. Although all this applied only till when we were at the bike zone. Once on our bikes, I know that all of us left our worldly problems and troubles behind.

So off we went, it was amazing fun riding through unknown roads. I stopped in ModiNager (which incidently happens to be my birthplace ) for fuel.

Another little pit stop along the way. After riding through and avoiding what seemed to be like millions of Buffalo's at a Buffalo trading fair!

It was a once in a lifetime thing riding with the guys. I am so thankful to all of them for having me and tolerating my not so funny humor. I am thankful to Manan for helping me get the bike fixed and picking me up. And vroom for sharing the bed with Manan also Old Fox for keeping me anchored (although there were times that I went ahead of him) I actually discovered that endurance touring is a whole different thing from technical riding and cornering which I am used to. Special thanks to sunny for the amazing photos and letting me be a part of the trip.

There are so many small things that happened on the trip which are so memorable and inforgettable. You cant see those inumerable miles munched in those photos. You can see the rush of trying to get a smoke done over with when youre riding with non smokers. The fun of eating infinite butter toast's and chai. And to see Sunny clicking away and talking about bikes, girls, life et all. I wish you guys could see the road between Mussorie and Dhanolti the visibility was like 4-5 feel and the road was 4 feet wide and was made up of loose mud and gravel. All in all one of the best trips of my life and I hope I get a chance to join the same gang again.

I parted ways with the guys from Haridwar from there I pushed really hard to reach Haldwani (Nanital) before dark. I made it at around 8.30pm the route I followed was Najibabad > Nagina > Jaspur > Kashipur > Ramnagar (via Corbett) > Haldwani > Nainital
