Hi All,
Well this was the first time i took my bike for approx 525 kms in a day,Especially on the plains.In the past i have explored the Hills in Himachal Pradesh.As i have just shifted to Delhi.My new target is of exploring Rajasthan.
I had just one week off i.e Sunday instead of Saturday and Sunday...and it was in my mind that once i shift to Delhi i will go to Jaipur.Thought many times that whether we will be able to make it back to Delhi on the same evening from Jaipur.
Discussed with my Buddies.Will definitely mention their names: Rajiv, Jagjeet and Ashish.It was four of us who decided and gave a green signal for this one day tiring trip.
We started off from Delhi at 5:00am.and it had rained an hour back.So we had wet roads and cool breeze.Faced a traffic Jam near Manesar because of a Bike accident with a truck.This made me upset.We still moved on.As the sun got up....the fog disappeared....and it became easier for us to move ahead as per the schedule.We stopped at Behroor(Rajasthan) for breakfast.The dhaba wala wasnt ready with the stuff.This wasted our complete one hour.As we were getting near to Jaipur.The level of excitement was getting high.The road was awesome...surrounded by dry hills.By around 10:30am we reached Amer Fort....all i could say was WOW!due to shortage of time we could just visit this place!!We parked our bikes in the parking..and unfortunately while we were returning me and Jagjeet discovered that the petrol level had gone down...It was the parking person ,who took out petrol from our bikes...guys please be careful while you are out on such trips.While returning we joined a group of foreign tourist.Who were heading for Delhi on their fully loaded Enfields.Me and Jagjeet had Apache RTR160...so,it was 2 apache and 4 Bullets.We stopped for lunch after Behroor.The food was awesome...especially Kadi Pakoda...relaxed for an hour or so....As we reached near Manesar..my bike started giving missing problem....dont know what happened....so i told jagjeet and ashish to carry on as delhi wasnt much far...as Jagjeet was getting calls from his home.Me and Rajiv slowed down to around 40Kmph.We all were back safely at our homes.In the evening when i spoke to Jagjeet.He told me a strange incident that a group of miscrents stopped their car and gathered around Jagjeet and Ashish and asked"where is goa?"They said dont know.Those people got into the car and took a u-turn.Jagjeet was terrified...he took his bike and rushed to his home...Me and Rajeev were unaware of this incident.Guys.Lesson learnt that what ever may be the reason always move in a group.Dont get scattered.
But overall it was an amazing experience.and next time im looking forward for Delhi-Udaipur-Delhi trip.which will be for approx 3-4 days.Please have a look at some clicks.
