      A +1 to that..

Some one who stays just a couple of of kms away,it would be better to listen to all that exprience directly with lots of excitement and emotions directly from you, some time verysoon.
It was a mutual feeling of happiness (Whaterver that meant )when Imran bhai was telling and I was listening all that, the yesterday morning.
With all those notions, emotions and expressions.. and of him walking over the frozen lake!

P.S: Suhail: Can I also join you, while you are going sometime there?

Lovely lovely lovely! Short of words to see the beauty in these pictures. I'd love to have been there, shivering in cold yes, but with a wicked smile on plastered on my face.

Thank you all for your appreciation. The true credit goes to Mother Nature...and to this stupendously beautiful country we belong to. The frozen Nako Lake with cows and Imrans nonchalantly strolling on it was a sight to behold. And the white-shrouded bewitching beauty of Pin Valley was almost hypnotic. One just needed to frame at random and click....and viola! what a picture you'd get.

SKSy: Next March. Two on your bike. I'll frame two 'grinning' faces with all the snow in the background. Promise .

Inder: Thanks. Plan something similar for next March. You'll love it.

                      Rachit: Just do it!

dcs: You can speak now....before Imran and Anshul start posting their pics

LP: Sure. Call me and drop by sometime.

Prabhubravo: The snow will melt within the next couple of weeks though it keeps crowning the tops of the surrounding peaks through the summer. May end you will still find snow by the roadside between Chota Dara and Losar.

Aparajith: Thanks. And yes...do experience it first hand.

Kurt urf Vaibhav: Go this weekend itself. Its melting quick but will probably re-freeze on realizing that Vaibhav is flying in . Am looking forward to a good long ride with you.

                      Prateek
: Yes...it was an amazing trip.

Abhishek2433: Thanks. We all were actually grateful for good roads so far up and out.

Shivanshu: Glad to have made your 'week' . Will try and make this whole month better .

MG: High time you started planning. Though I do see the irony of having lived in the vicinity of the hills for so long and having to 'plan' now from a 1000 miles away. But rest assured..it'll be worth it!

DD: Thanks. Will be good to ride with you. Lets do it in Mar 2011.

Anurag: Sirji...you can't have the cake and eat it too you know. Though you can say the same for me...the Pacific highway is no less fetching and beautiful. And seen from the saddle of a 'Wing makes it all the better. looking forward to catching up on your return.

How does one even come to comment on such pics..? I mean it seems like the stuff which legends r made of..

First thing I did after seeing this thread was to ping Imran and ask him, "dude.. yeh bata de ki Saans kaise lete hai"..

Hats off to the 3 of you for completing the EPIC ride.. looking forward to seeing more pics and reading the log..

Envy (& jealous) about you guys up north. The Himalayas are indeed the most majestic places on this planet. Fully agree, our great country is more than the snake charmers, elephants etc..

BTW, out of curiosity we need the name of our unsung hero- I mean the camera model.

place) in a casual chat over a cup of tea, Anshul started to pour out his love for the valley describing his previous rides to Spiti. How the nature changes its beauties from one set of colors to others in different seasons, from lush green cover all over to pale yellowish as winter approaches. With 9 successful Spiti rides on his card even OldFox. And that is where it all started...
