Superb pix biru. The pix are making me ignore the heat

Really from last few days, am checking out places in Karnataka & really wish to go. Another reason are the superb roads.
Am thinking of places like shimoga, jog falls (know it will be dry), coorg.

Thanks.I remember my last ride to Hampi and Gokak falls with Shadowboy and Bibek.We had planned to visit Badami as well.Due to time constraints we left it for the next time.And now here it is.

hehhehe...I guess my ride's purpose is served then.

DAY 1 - MUMBAI TO BADAMIBadami Caves
There are 4 cave temples shows the religious inclination towards Hindu,Jain and Jain gods.
First cave which is the oldest one has very beautiful carvings of Shiva in his Nataraja avatar, performing tandava.
We can also find the carvings of the god in the Ardhanarishvara,which are known as Half man and Half women, the woman part represents his wife Parvati.
There is another carving of which the right half is Shiva - the Destroyer and the left half is of , Vishnu - the Preserver.
Caves 2 and 3 are dedicated entirely to Vishnu, whereas Cave 4 is has an image of the Jain tirthankara, Adinath.
Cave Temple 1
Carvings made in the Cave 1 are of red sandstone and has a hall with a number of pillars.

Cave Temple 2
As i mentioned earlier the second temple is having images of Vishnu. One has to climb 64 stairs from the first cave to reach there.

Very beautiful carving on its celing,The carvings were of Vishnu on Garuda.

This rock cut out temple has the carved images of various avatar of Vishnu.








Cave Temple 4
Cave 4 was a Jain temple relates to 6th century Jainism. There is a carving of Mahavira in sitting position..

Thanks Kashif bhai...I think there are only two things which needs to be managed..third one is also imp factor
1) Leaves - no need as most of the rides i do is on Sat- Sun
2) Money - JP pays well.
3) Bike condition - Yamaha service centre wala pareshaan he mere se..ki kitni jaldi jaldi leke aate bike servicing karane ke liye. :P.I usually get it serviced at every 2000 Kms..

Haan haan...bole bujurg aadmi.aapke suvidha ke liye hi zoom in pe daal rakhi he photos.I thought zoom-in is accessible for you.
