Edit: This trip happened on 16th January 2010...
It was a Fine Saturday morning, with Sun coming out after a long time...
Also, i had nothing to do that day. By that i mean absolutely Nothing... total vella... So i decided to go to Simla and Kufri to spend a quality time and to pacify my "Riding Keeda". Hence, i took out my Chammo, had a Chai-Sutta and headed for Simla..
I have been to Simla though NH-22, and found it to be quite a boring Hill Ride. Hence, Searched for an alternate route, And found the Route Kandaghat-Chaail-Kufri-Simla. I knew nothing about the route, and hence inquired about the same.
So, There i was, Standing in Front of my House at exact 10:15 A.M. all set for the Ride... the ride till Solan Ok and hence, reached there at 11:45. Took a Butt break over there and headed for Chail. The road from Kandaghat to Chail is gud... with a great scenic view...
Pardon me for not posting any snaps till now, as my main aim was to Ride and hence did not clicked any.
However, i did realized my mistake somewhere before chaail..
Soon, Chaail converted from a name to a place and i was there at around 1:00 P.M. I did not Rested over there, as i was damn hungry by that time, and i thought of having food at Kufri only so, throttled Chammo towards Kufri... I was told that the Road to Kufri was OK and Do-able, but what i found was a road with lots of bumps. The Road was still doable for me... but then, there was melted snow all over the place and my ride was slipping every now and then....
Soon, i started feeling Irritated of the road, when all of a sudden, i saw this:
After a few snaps, i moved forward, as my Stomach was cursing me every now and then.
I also realized the pain it was going through and neglected a few more snap-able sites...
but then i came across a turn which forced me to stop....
After this stoppage, i did not stopped any where else, and entered Kufri. Kufri was very crowded and it seemed everyone was there.... Negotiated my was out of that crowd, only to realize that i also came out of Kufri
Saw a Dhaba at the Roadside, and had my long awaited Lunch over there... It was 2:30 by that time...
After having my meal and a couple of Sutta, headed to Simla. It was the First time that i went to Simla, and i will try to neglect that place from now on.... But, thats just me.... was totally disheartened
.... Started from Simla at around 4:00 and took NH-22 way back.... i wanted to ride on the Chaail road again, but the Kufri to Chaail road forced me to change my decision...
Stopped at Solan to have a Sutta break, and it was 5:00 P.M at that time. Started from Solan at 5:15P.M and reached Chandigarh at exactly 6:15 P.M.
