  • CBR'd from Cochin to Bangalore (via Wayanad)

Distance Covered: 78 kms. Fuel drunk: 4.25L Mileage: 18.3x kms/litre. Mighty impressed! I was expecting anywhere from 11 to 15.

Thrissur-Kozhikode:Distance Covered: 134 kms. Fuel drunk: 8.1L Mileage: 16.54 kms/litre. Not as good as before, but still very good, I thought.

    Kozhikode-Wayanad (Sultan Bathery):Distance Covered: 95 kms.

    Wayanad-Mysore:Distance Covered: 115 kms
    Fuel Drunk: 12.2 L
    Mileage: 115 + 95 (Carried over)/12.2L = 17.21 km/litre (I can absolutely live with that.)

The Home Stretch: Mysore-Bangalore:Distance Covered: 182 kms

    Total Odo Reading: 604 kms

    Tour Report Approved

Hearty Congrats on your new buy, the 954! I have only read half of it. Will soon finish it. I thought of approving it first. Great going. Maybe you should start an ownership thread as well. Thanks for sharing.

In all that writing, I think I forgot to actually write that it is mine.

Finally read through it. Enjoyed it. It is a pity though that the roads that you encountered gave you more pain than pleasure. Roads are not meant to do that. But we know how it is here.

Did you manage to get your oil seals repaired? I am sure you are now planning to do more rides, long ones and short ones!

Yes, a big thanks to Dev indeed.

Yes, very true. But no pain no gain I guess. That was one of my scores of chants I was doing every two secs of riding!

Well, honestly, not yet. After I came back, I have been busy resting or at the office . But I will do it within this weekend. As of now, it is safely locked away in a shutter.

Many thanks, sumit. You know how anxious I was, especially after bombarding you with all those questions.
