Day 1 - Bangalore to Kavu
The plan was to take the first break at Mysore. Climate was good after we crossed Kengeri and the road is straight, awesome, no traffic and we had HID on high beam. So we were riding at a average speed of 80/90 Kmph. Finally 6:15 AM we reached Mysore.
After Mysore on the way to Kushal Nagar, We had our breakfast and headed to Kushal Nagar. We reached Kushal Nagar at 8:15 AM. Ohh my god after Kushal Nagar to Madikeri some road widening work was going on and the existing road is screwed up. We just could able to maintain a average speed of 40-50 Kmph. After 9 O' clock, it was so hot and there is no rain since few days. In the way to Madikeri near Abbe falls we took a breaks. We charged up our self. We took some pictures and headed towards Madikeri.. We reached Madikeri at 9.15 AM and at that time place like Madikeri was burning. I was running out of fuel and there was no good fuel bunk. As per Navnish at Sampaje we could get good fuel; I just checked the fuel level in the tank and took the risk. At that moment to time there was some weird sound was coming from my rear disk break. Because of hair pin bends, I lost the sight of Navnish and my god there is a junction. I asked three people there the way to Sampaje and the result was 2:1 and I took the way as per the result and was right. It was already 47KM in my speedo in reserved mode and I was just hoping for the fuel bunk to come. Any way I made it and we both just filled Rs. 100 fuel from Indian Oil, which I never do normally.
After taking some water we headed to Puttur. The road was partly good and we could able to maintain a average speed of 60/70 Kmph. We reached Puttur at 11:10. At that time we were so hungry and because of the heat tired also. Thought of taking a break and settle down the bloody hungry stomach. We ate some ice creams and fruit salad and took enough time to recharge our self.
On the way to Sampaje from Madikeri.
When we reached Asweet was on the way from Puttur to Kavu. Mean while we drunk lot of coconut water and was feeling very good after the hectic ride. At around 1:30 Asweet also approached. That was the first meeting with him and he mixed up with me as he is my childhood friend. And he also anyhow managed to speak in Hindi and was laughing at himself.. At the end of the day I liked him very much. There was a nice lunch and absolutely of a new type and I enjoyed the lunch. After lunch we planned for a trek and also we can visit the estate. Asweet was the guide there. We saw the star apple tree, clove tree, pepper tree, coco tree, cocom tree etc, which all were new from me. Asweet was so involved in showing the things to us, he even took a good class about the honey cultivation. He demonstrated everything and even he showed the queen bee. We saw a green snake and tried to capture in our cam, but disappeared before we did. After the trek, Asweet again made us to drink the coconut water. It was 4 PM and we planned to ride to Madikeri and stay the night there. We did some photography with our bike and Asweet. After some chit chat with Asweet, we finally geared up and ready for the next destination.

Day 1 - Kavu to Kalgundi
It was 5:45 PM and we started from there. As Asweet also going to Puttur, he joined us till the junction. It was combination of off road and was a slow ride till there. We said bye to Asweet and headed towards Madikeri. After some ride before Sulya we filled our fuel tank at a HP outlet. We approached Sulya at around 6:45 PM crossing all the hair pin bends. We took a break there. As it was quite dark at that time, we changed our plan and decided to stay the night at Kalgundi. But it was a big challenge, 7 KM of the next trip was full off road and there is a many drop down in distance vs. Altitude graph. Any way that was the last option we had and as we were totally exhausted. Finally we headed to Kalgundi foot of the hill. The road is full of terrain and bad. Thanks to the HID on my high beam, it was a bit easy for us. We reached the Kalgundi foot hill at 8 PM. Man now it is full off road. The road was very bad and as per the local people over there, only Jeeps use to approach that roads. Oooph, I realized the challenge then. There were few water crossings and people put big big rocks to make it easy for the jeep and my R15 most of the time was losing the grip on that. On the way I found one water crossing . I stopped there and waited for Navnish. Man I saw back and Navnish was not there and no HID light also. I got scared as I did not know the road and was just following the jeep wheel marks. Had I taken the wrong path?? Finally I saw the HID beam after five minute. Ohhh man, I was on the right way. After Navnish reached I tried to cross the water crossing but my rear wheel got stuck in between two rocks. Finally with the help of Navnish, I managed to cross the water crossing. After that some uphill riding and we finally reached to Amrutha's house(Navnish friend) at 9:00 PM. The day one journey was ended with 401 KM on trip meter. Amrutha's mother welcomed us. We got fresh over there first and had our dinner. Dinner was very good and I ate more than I use to. he he.. Thanks to aunt for the nice dinner. After some chit chat with aunt, finally at 10:30 PM we slept. Sunday morning the plan was to approach to Madikeri (40 KM from Kalgundi) before the sun rose. But the sun won the game and rose before we rise. We got up at 7 AM. Quickly finished everything and had "idli" on breakfast. Again thanks to aunt. After some photography; said bye to aunt and at 8:15 AM we started.

Day 2 - Kalgundi to Bangalore
After saying bye to aunt, we started at 8:15 AM from there. The plan was to take the first break at Madikeri to bag some stuffs for home. But again before that the challenge, we gotta cross the off road. It was day light and we were fresh so coved the part easily and came to Kalgundi foot hill. The journey from Kalgundi to Madikeri was slow, but we enjoyed as it was not that sunny and cool. we reached Madikeri at 9.35 AM and bagged some honey, cake etc from there. After that without doing any delay, we headed for the next destination to Kushal Nagar. Again the road was bad due to the widening work, but it was ok ride till Kushal Nagar. We reached Kushal Nagar at 10:45 AM. After Kushal Nagar we stopped one place on the highway to take water and recharge our self. The next plan to hang out in some CCD before Mysore to settle down the stomach and to take some rest and Mysore was still 60-70 KM from there. Finally we reached Maddur at 1:05 AM and took the break. We had some sandwich and cold coffee and relaxed our self for one hour. We again started 2.30 PM and as the road was good we were riding at 90-100 Kmph and reached Bangalore by 3.30 hrs. Bangalore traffic took more 45 minute to reach home and journey ended. The total trip was of 709 KM. Due to dehydration faced some issues next day also. But after taking some glucose and electrol my body got stable.
At Kalgundi
Part of the off road which we were riding last night.
