Praveen, after visiting the Kodachadri in dry conditions, I can imagine how adventerous it would be to climb Kodachadri in rains (of course, we had some great adventure climibing it at night). I am still missing Kodachadri in rains. I will visit it again in monsoons. Hope, I will have that luck.
Having those off-roading tyres is really a boon in those kind of roads. Thorougly enjoyed your pics. Kodachadri is really lovely in monsoons.

Was literally pouring when coming down. It was much more fun when i went there 2 years back. Then it was just stones, but now with a layer of soft mud they have put creates a lot of slush in rains. But the michelins held on pretty well.

Tata Indica????Originally posted by Rockkyyy View Postvery true.. I too feel its no more fun climbing up Kodachadri... it will be more of slush. Last time when we went there were lot of vehicles even a tata indicom was there....

I cannot believe it Aswin. It is impossible for an Indica to do that stretch. There are some very deep turns only a 4-WD jeep can do. Are you sure?
I feel slush is more dangerous than stones in those deep hairpins. There are high chances of the bike skidding more than on the rocks, particularly when negotiating the deep hairpins.Last edited by ravi@17bhp; 02-06-2009, 08:26 AM.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler
