Day: 9

In the morning it was drizzling at Chopta. We came on the road where we got range of BSNL. I called to my family from where I got the message that my cell phone (Lost on kedar trek) was with a family from Colkata. I was very happy and called on my cell and fixed the Joshimuth to collect the phone. We started for Chamoli at 8:00 am. We were suffering from cold now. We joined Delhi- Mana NH at Chamoli. After Bhamoli the road was very good and a fast drive was possible here. We made Joshimuth very early where we faced a very big jam but we managed to cross it as we were on bikes. WE stopped at GobindGHat for junch at 2:00 pm. We started for Badrinath ji at 3:00 and reached there 4:30 pm. We stayed there in Dharamshala ( Jagadhary-yamunanagar niwas) run by Pt Kanshi Ram ji who is earlier known to us. He managed a room with 6 beds. ( it was very difficult to find room as it was very big crowd on that day. Pt. Kanshi Ram ji do not charge from us for stay but its our will what we promise to give. He comes in winter at our place to collect the promise. Pt ji send us for dharshan after a nice tea with tulsi (tulsi at Badrinath is of best quality in world) which helped us to fight ht ecold. We went to Temple with a person sent by Kanshi ji. We took bath at hot water tank . The water was so hot that we could not go into it. We managed to bath by sitting on the bank of the tank. After bath a long line was waiting for us. We could perform pooja at 8:00 pm. After that we joined Aarti at Badri temple. It was great experience. We took dinner at 9:00 pm with Kanshi Ji. It was a homely treatment. We went to bed at 11:00. It was very cold there.
