            THE RIDE:
The ride was decided on 17th May and we were 8 friends to go for this ride.
But on Sunday we were only 4 to go for this ride.
6:30 am I woke up and called the other guys and asked them to get ready and meet me up at 8:15 am. Everyone was on time (for the first time).
It was a pleasent morning, but suddenly clouds gathered and there was a loud thunder.
At 8:40 am it started raining in Shimla, but we decided to move on. After 10-15 minutes the rained stopped.
Weather was playing its game, and we were enjoying the ride.

            THE ROAD:
The road till Kufri was good, but from Kufri till Fagu it was a patchy road..
From Fagu till Theog the road was awesome. From Theog to Matiyana the road was worse, didn't enjoyed the ride there not even for 100 meters, it was badly patched.
After Matiyana the road till Narkanda was good.

            SURPRISE:
As soon as we reached kufri there was a slight traffic jam. But wat I saw the very next moment seemed to b an illusion but it wasn't, saw the mighty HAYABUSA in white and guess who was riding it....... "Sunny bhai".
He waved his hand and I was very pleased with that gesture. We talked for a moment but we had to move on, as he was heading back to Delhi with the his riders and I was heading to Hatu.
But I must say that it was a very pleasent meet.

            RIDE TO HATU PEAK:
Riding upto Hatu Peak was not an easy job for us. It was a 6 kms uphill ride and a narrow road. There was a lot of traffic while riding uphill, due to that there was a traffic jam and we got stuck for about half an hour. Finally we got up there 3400 meters above sea level....A delightful place...!!

So here are the pics. I am sharing with all of you, hope you all will like them.

Thnx mate. As of Spiti-Kaza, well I really want to go there, but due to my health problems my parents don't allow me to plan a ride till there.

Same here sir, I was very pleased to see you all, but the conditions didn't allowed us to have a nice chat. But would surely love to meet you guys again.

The roads around Matiyana are always patchy and really bad and uncomfortable. What is that machine billowing smoke? Is that to melt tar?

I think that would be the world's highest hockey field!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Really, the roads there are a let down, considering the smooth roads in both directions. I have never seen the hockey field(which looks great), or for that matter even a cricket field in those areas (Doesn't stop the locals from playing in small clearings near the road ofcourse. Wonder whether hitting a sixer is allowed)

Yes Ken da, that machine is to melt tar.

As of hitting a sixer is concerned, i guess its allowed..

India has its highest cricket ground in Chail, situated at an altitude of 7500 feet above the sea level and the highest hockey ground with synthetic turf at an altitude of 2450 meters from sea level both in Himachal Pradesh.
