Alankar mishra: Hit srinagar last night, Heavy cold, cross winds, fallen trees and wet roads

Vishwas:
Couple of exclusive pics coming up for auction. Bid strats from 1 million dollars. Photos of inder stuffing his thermal pants with carry bags, they are in his camera so will need to transfer them first. He did not bring rain suit pants so got all wet, and he hasnt used the GPS yet. No batteries.
Bastage was carrying my rain suit (which I think had the pants too!) and he 'saved' a huge amount of 16Rs on two AA sized batteries!

PS: And Navendu is heading back from Leh as the weather is very bad for now.
Road to lamayur was closed 3 days back (there is another road open that bypasses lamayuru). So if anyone is planning to halt there, keep options (either kargil or khaltse) if the roads are still closed

Everyones jst got out of bed & planning to leave Srinagar now. The Pune team left in the morning so itz goin to be more like a catch-up game.
I hope these guys avoid night ridding from now on, its dangerous + jst all the schedule goes haywire. Spidy's bike yet has some electrical problems.
Had a word wid Raman & folks yesterday nite. THey have reached Ambala & had plans to halt at Patnitop today. A bike in their group lost its no plate, so they had to stay @ Ambala------------

Our bikes are getting loaded into the train. HydBiker, seshaditya are packing the bikes while I am sitting here at office.
seshaditya gave a good news just a while ago. our tickets are confirmed. starting today from hyd at 17:30.
All packing of stuff is done. check lists checked and double checked.
Hyderabad battalion reporting!! Hoping that Leh-Manali highway opens up next week. Just like the other blockers cleared for our tour. I am ****in tensed and excited now.

vishnuu - Apache grey
A BIG thanks to onlinesatish for helping me out with packing and loading my bike into the train. long live biking brotherhood.

And yes.. Lot of R15's too, its the first time I guess so many R15 are going to the himalayas.. I guess this time at Leh in mountains, you will find lot of R15 & not the bullets thumping around..!
