Reached leh around 8 pm. Did drass - leh 300 km today. Hooked up with my friend here. Going to pangong tomorrow.

We had our first fall on 5th when paaji tried to overtake a truck from wrong side. Truck kissed silencer & saddle bag. Bag owner can kiss goodbye to it. Second fall was yesterday when we all skidded on black ice in chang la. Third one today when rudra skidded in sand flown on road. No one hurt.

50 away from nizamuddin's chaos. 200km from chandigarh. Having breakfast. Had a good 5 hr sleep. Happy that bikes reached safe without a scratch.

He has reached Leh city..!! Last night, due to heavy snow fall.. he came ahead & directly reached Leh..!! The other guyz are unreachable..! they might have halted back.. so hopefully they should reach leh.

@Inder/Vishwas: Hope the guyz are fine & nothing major damage happened to them or the bike..!! Crashes possibility is extremely high on a trip like leh.. atleast a minor crash

EDIT: Aman is trying to hook up with vishwas/inder, but not able to get through..!! Since aman is in leh & even they might be there only..!

Did Shanti Stupa.. Leh Palace... trekked all the way up to the palace.. ran out of breath 3 times!

Motor called, they had halted in Lamayuru (some 125kms before Leh) because of bad weather, Spidey's bike giving some trouble, so they didnt take any chances. They are on their way, but I doubt they'll reach Leh before 5-6pm.

The roads, views, are just mesmerizing after Nimmu (40kms before Leh). They'll stop for poses for sure!

We cant get the permits today for sure, tommorow we will, and then day after tommorow we do Nubra and then Pangong Tso.

Somebody please keep updating me on the Manali route.

^^that's simply great aman & the R15 must have been flawless till now.

Leh is a superb city to roam around.. a perfect hang-out place for bikers..!! Lot of bikers thumping around the town..!! everything is available here..
Hope the other guyz catch-up soon..!! Wonder.. y so many problems yet before passing the tougher roads, which are ahead, on Leh-Manali, Leh-PangangTso..

How I wish SpyD was God, he could have played around with the jets/Carb.... Heard it had some electrical problems as well?

No contact from anyone after we reached drass. yesterday we were in pangong & no range. My bike did not climb chang la. Talked with Yamaha delhi. They have told changes that I will get done today itself. Had to ride pillion with rudra to Pangong.

R15 is doing good till now.. ride it with respect and it will give it back to you. Cyber-cafes, restaurents, bike rental shops, motorbike rental shops, trekking gear shops, the city is full with these. Although the surfing charges are on the higher side: Rs90/hr!

Yeah... I can stay here for a month or so.. befriend some Leh chicks.. ohhhh... they are hot... I love watching them on the streets... this is like the fashion capital of north India!

Same here with Vishwas, and neither are Inder/Rudra reachable. Spidey had some kachra in the carb which needed to be cleaned, bike was ultra-slow while climbing.

I'm at Hotel Khan Manzil, its near SBI Bank/ATM.

We are in leh today. If rudra's bike gets repaired today, we will go to hunder tomorrow. If not will rework plans. currently in hotel tsokar but will shift
