Yes there is no route,Google map is showing incorrect info.In both the cases you have to go via Srinagar.

Just googled about this..There is only a trek path.

In any case they will not able to make it to LEH today.Phew..take care guys.

      Cheers

Consider it an opportunity to leave your gloves behind, take a slow, leisurely walk across the city/village, savour the local cuisine, strike a conversation with locals, learn about their ways of life, visit local popular not with tourists, but with locals - even if its just a chai ka tapri, live their life for a day. You get more out of the experience that way. More memories, more friends, more information, more happiness. Just my two cents. I've heard "We wasted a day because of XYZ reason" waayyyyy too many times and my skin crawls everytime I hear it. A lazy day on a tour is only wasted if you spend the day indoors watching TV.
I love the way you have described your views...........

Last thing I wanted to hear from you was this & I saw this at the very first glance of this thread
Firstly, we dint go Nubra from Leh. We diod Leh-ChangLa-PangongTso-Shey-Nubra.
Lack of preparation, dude you had the foot pump as decided & we suffered due to that unavailability of foot pump.
I DINT FALL A SINGLE TIME & YOU GUYS, MANY TIMES : should I say Lack of Preparation from your side.
YOUR FZ dint climb Chang La : Lack of Preparation from your side.
                Cmon, STOP JUDGING PEOPLE

Also want to clarify that at no point, the temperature was -10 or -12. It was snowing very hard but the temprature was around 2 degrees. (I checked thermometer at Khardungla)

                Lucky you
Army guys told us that Temp at K-top was around -10*C, so either they are fools or you are a scientist
And there is a difference between very hard snowing & SNOW-STORM, whioch me n Alankar faced almost to death.

All these tales may sound dramatic and surely make up for an interesting read, but I wouldn't want to be a part of them. That was the reason I detached myself from the Mumbai gang, joined the Pune group, did some solo stuff, completed the tour, and was back with a day to spare. Nothing wrong in being efficient.

Now I feel they're again trying to be God by taking the Manali route... no wonder they'll get more viewership! But I chose between nature and sanity, and I'm back home safe and fit.
And GODS were the first of this season to cross the Baralachla La (at its worst), YES WE ARE GODS, atleast people say so...

you got back safe & fit coz you dint do nothing great riding on TAR, awesome...

what you did in Leh? : you roamed Leh. you did K top once. you dint to nubra. you did pangong tso. AMAZING!!!

One MAJOR reason was riding was more important than other things. We started around 6 am every morning so could finish the day's ride with ample sunlight remaining and then enjoy and Aman would be ready even before we thought of getting out of bed. May be because he slept with all his clothes and gear on.

How can you & us travel to K-top in -10*C? Now Vishwas again will have to post about his tale that he got a thermometer & tested the temp at K-top & it was 2*C there & blah blah blah...

P.S: think before you write (this not for you Biru)

See now that i've spent some time with you, I know what kinda talks you do. Goin over the top with words excites you, sounds dumb to me. I've clarified my position to Alankar in the previous post, but you want to be a smarta** and degrade my ride! More than me you have a problem with my job!
What did I do in Leh? Nothing, just visited cyber-cafes and came back (all on tar).
Now kindly boast somewhere else cos your shit doesn't excite me.
