And the plan changed again, it was monday evening and me and my friends changed the and post-poned the plan to ride for the 2nd time just in hope to catch a better place with someone more experience to guide us through almighty mountains who I always respect no matter what the weather conditions are. Then came the wednesday night and a new plan surfaced, my heart and my baby were both angry with what I'm doing to them but I had no option but to wait till my friends gave green signal. Alas, at last moment some bid adieu to the trip and some left for another destination. Then came a useful tip from Abhishek bhaiya through text that "If you seriously want to go then don't wait! !". And yeah I didn't wait this time or changed my plan anymore. Made my mind that this has to be done no and no force evert tried to stop me again
    .
1st Stop at NH1 Road to Zirakpur via Banur.......

It was saturday night, at 0245 hours I started desending the stairs after saying good bye to mum. Tied my small bag with bungee, cranked the engine and it was all alive roaring at 0300 hours. Then started the journey towards hills as my displacement to the hills was decending, the thoughts of my final destination already crowded my mind. Reached the point at which chandigarh and ambala roads are seperated and took my 1st break of 5mins there and clicked some pics. Then the long long ride resumed to the destination unknown where the

    white sheets,

water makes sure they stay in touch, in harmory and

mother earth takes care of each one ......

Uploading some teaser pics for you my friends...whole thread will come up by this weekend I hope....

After so many days finally after my laptop recuperated from serious crash and with all my exams and office burden deep buried, I'm here to complete this log. Sorry for being so late.

          The Plan
As per planning with myself and abhiskek bhaiya aka abhishek2243, I was supposed to have a fine short trip to Rohru via Narkhanda. But plans did changed drastically after I reached Narkhanda at 0845 hours and called abhishek bhaiya from there and he said I should leave for Rampur and then decide for further journey.

I quickly moved along the beautiful roads towards Rampur and from there I finally set my destination for Kalpa.

          The Destination (Kalpa, Chitkul)

          Kalpa
Blessed with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes anywhere, it is a travellers paradise -lofty snow peaks, deep gorges, lush green valleys, fast flowing rivers, enchanting mountain lakes, flower bedecked meadows, beautiful temples and monasteries steeped in time.

          Location: 616 km from Delhi.
          Height asl: 3300 metres.
Route Taken by me: New Delhi - Banur- Zirakspur - Shimla - Narkanda - Rampur - Karcham - Powari - Recong Peo - Kalpa.

          Chitkul

Chitkul is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border; the Indian road ends here. During winters the place remains covered with the snow mostly & these people move to the lower areas of Himachal. Chitkul, on the banks of Baspa River, is the first village of the Baspa valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route.

It is also the last point in India one can travel to without a permit. Of particular interest at Chitkul are its houses with either slate or wooden plank roofs, a Buddhist temple and a small tower.

          The Rider
It was all solo trip. And as it was my first solo without much experience of that sector few members and friends helped me a lot during my journey and it was never like I'm alone.

Thanks to Abhishek bhaiya, Ravi Bhaiya, Rajat aka cool_boy for being in constant touch with me and helping me with the routes till the end.

          The Journey
`500 per night after some serious discussion they discounted `100 but had a problem of parking. I was so tired that I asked them any suitable place to park the beast will do. They showed me a parking in jungle and that was quite safe I guess. I parked there and ordered some Dimsums (momos) but yuck they tasted like rubber. I then bought some chips and slept like a child that night.

Next early morning the plan was of Chitkul.

Sometimes In Life when we face difficult roads ahead, we tend to confuse ourselves. Some takes U-Turn and some go beyond and Make it BIG :-).....A road to chitkul

I packed everything, cleared hotel bill and left for the destination. A very very rough road welcomed me after I crossed karcham. Few foreign Bikers met me in the way who told me the weather above is awesome.

After that I reached chitkul in 2hours, with scenes like river flowing along the way. It was like scenes that were calling my name and were telling me to stop and admire them.

But after reaching chitkul everything changed.

A very small town with only one hotel, few general stores and a big school beside the river bank. I parked my bike at the hotel and trekked almost 1km to reach the river bank.
I spent almost 2 hours here with river singing and me admiring
