Thanks a lot 4 the wonderful time!!!

    Hi all..

Ramu and I took the return leg of ride with Neil, Nagoo and RemoBangalore. Reached back at sometime around 6pm. Did miss the large group but was in a hurry to make it back early. We took our ride from Bangalore to Mysore today morning and reached at 8:30am.
So, iamarj and ramu086 are back in office mesmerising the people here with the details of the absolutely awesome G2G.

THANK YOU to all the organizers of this trip and thank you all for joining in for the fun filled miles! As lijo said, "already starting to think of the next g2g."

"Hi 5" to the Kerala team for persevering the torture and still enjoyin the ride! And YES to the idea of the next g2g in God's own country

The undying spirit that was seen in the members of the trip is the sole reason for xBhp's sucess and may it be present in all the upcoming ventures.

Thanks a lot again for making it a memorable trip! Hoping to see you all soon for more miles of fun and excitement!

KN + TN + KL is the right explosive combination!

    Ride safe!
    iamarj
PS: I'll upload my share of photos as soon as possible
    Yours truly, HONDA ;)
    RIDE SAFE ;)

      Thank you!!!

Had a fantastic time. Thank you folks!!! A big thank you to all the organizers.

I'm extremely glad that most of the things went very smooth and we had minor incidents that we could handle. The spirits of the Kerala riders were always high despite the hurdles they had to cross. Kudos to them.

@all, sorry for not posting but my pc is not working, i have come to my cousin's place now to post.
I am ok, going to take a long rest at home. and an even longer break from biking.
i am totally shaken, when i close my eyes, i can see that white tempo traveller charging at me and me crashing. next thing i know pant and jacket torn, knee guards hanging on by a single strap, saddle bag in the middle of the road, glass and pieces of my bike strewn across the road! a scene straight out a nightmare. i am guessing the rear locked up, i dont remember properly. it was nobody's fault, it was just my misfortune! I just cant believe it happened, i have done this thousands of times, i dont understand how i crashed, i haven't once overshot a corner, dont know what went wrong! Hopefuly i will one day get back my confidence! Many thanks to all fellow bikers who helped me out and especially Kirosh for taking care of the bike, give me a call when you come to bangalore bro, really need to thank you properly. sorry i couldnt thank you there, i had a lot on my mind! and sorry Manu that you had watch it all, hope it hasnt affected you!I would like to urge all bikers to please wear proper riding jackets and knee protectors while riding in the ghats. I spent all my savings to buy my gear and yesterday, it proved its worth, it saved me a lot of injuries!

that done with, lets get to the point what an amazing G2G! helmets off to all the organisers, the leads, the sweeps n everyone who made it a grand success! the T-shirts are wonderful, i bought two btw there are 9 T-shirts of size M left, anyone interested, contact Ravi, you can get it for 115/-
Thanks to one and all for making this a grand success

Take it easy... All that you have learnt during this can't be taught even with a 1000 hours of riding. Don't lose hope. You should be back very soon!

@ Arjun, Nagoo, , Michael, Ramu - Was fantastic riding back with you guys. Good, steady, comfortable speeds while maintaining formation with proper signalling. Thumbs up to Ramu who has never done a long distance ride & rode wonderfully.

@ Pavan - Good to know that youre ok. Years ago, I too had a spill. It took me a few weeks to physically get back to 100%, it took me longer to get back to biking. We learn from these incidents and come out wiser. Invest in new riding gear & ride safe.

@ Tulinisarg - That dog must be smiling in doggie heaven ! Make sure you check everything properly when taking delivery at Orion, they usually do a pretty decent job but sometimes miss out on small things.

Not to be a party pooper but there were lessons to be learnt from the G2G which will make future G2G's across the country better
                        - There were a bunch of bikers in the fast group who were riding way too close to each other. If anyone wouldve had to do an emergency stop we wouldve had a major pile up. Looks like they took the term 'group riding' in its literal sense.
                        - There were people who were working their way forward within the group while we were riding in staggered formation. Maybe Mummy & Pappa always told them to be first ....
                        - There were people test riding other people's bikes at our stops while not wearing helmets or safety gear. They must really be thick skinned (pun intended) !
                        - Despite strict instructions from the organisers to maintain single file discipline while riding in the ghats, there were people who overtook others. A couple of riders took some flak for their carelessness but there were more who slipped the notice of everyone.
                        - There were people who rode in full riding gear for hundreds of kms to reach Yercaud and then promptly left their gear (including helmets) in their rooms while roaming around town. Hope you all enjoyed the wind in the hair feeling. Recommend you use a hair dryer next time.
                        - A subset of the above group rode around after getting drunk. Probably wanted to see first hand how good the hospitals and / or cops in Yercaud are. Unfortunately they didnt succeed. Dont worry guys, theres always a next time.
