After the fantabulous Panhala ride last Sunday.. we had decided not to waste a single opportunity to ride or rather explore.
So Hyperion and me were on the lookout for a route less travelled and yet more scenic than the normal route. Hence we decided to go to old mahabaleshwer but avoiding the unamusing NH4.
Soon a different route was planned. The fun part was when the end of the planned ride gave birth to an unplanned impromptu ride, which was much more exciting and arduous.
Eventually the humble small ride was converted into a decent 420 + kms ride through the western ghats. More than 10 bikers yoked at the start of the journey and 8 of them decided to join in the newly planned ride. In the end it turned out to be a memorable ride for many of us.
We rode through some of the strenuous ghats, across lush green fields, alongside water bodies, in rain, fog, sunlight, no light and wht not. Stayed tuned for more interesting details. Ride details and log coming up soon. Here is a teaser pic for now.
